Just like being young. Just like the eight and nine consciousnesses. Just like ocean waves. This has been explained many times. Due to the unequal ignorance, clinging to self and what belongs to self, one enters samsara. When the clinging to self and what belongs to self is pacified, the two kinds of selflessness arise. Great wisdom, all the Buddha's teachings are contained within these five dharmas. And the connection of distinguishing the boundaries of the earth, refers to the appearance of the accumulations of merit and wisdom, and the samadhi with and without appearance, therefore it is said to be the connection of the boundaries of the earth. The verses summarized in the Mahayana are: the five dharmas and the nature, and the eight consciousnesses themselves, and the two kinds of selflessness, all the Mahayana is contained within this. From this sutra, the five dharmas have been explained many times. However, it should be combined and explained as the characteristics, forms, and shapes shown by the All-Knowing One. Just like the appearance of dizziness and fainting due to the power of confusion. To this, the name is grossness and armor. That which expresses the characteristics of letters, words, and expressions, and the collection of mind and mental factors, that is conceptual thought. When the true wisdom that discerns with wisdom does not observe the characteristics of gross and subtle, then, there is no name and conceptual thought, free from the confusion of duality, the nature is luminous, thusness is perfectly accomplished, and it remains constant like gold and so on. Nature is the Dharmadhatu, the place of existence and liberation, the Tathagatagarbha. It is called Alaya-consciousness in name. Apart from that, the eight consciousnesses are the entering six consciousnesses, and the afflicted mind and the seventh consciousness. The two kinds of selflessness refer to the selflessness of phenomena and the selflessness of persons. The selflessness of phenomena refers to the non-dual wisdom because the entities of phenomena such as form do not exist. The selflessness of persons refers to the fact that all momentary things, like the sound of cymbals and flowing water, do not have the permanence of clinging to self and person. Because it is not produced, it is like the son of a barren woman and so on.

Because permanence contradicts functioning in a sequential and simultaneous manner, it is not a real entity, just like a rabbit's horn, etc. Therefore, there is nothing that is not momentary. The Tathagatagarbha, except for things like the sound of hail, is understood as permanent by connecting moment to moment, like gold, etc. The Omniscient One spoke in the manner of definitive meaning, which definitively explains the intention: 'Name and sign are the completely imagined; the characteristics of the two natures are dependent on others; true wisdom is suchness; it is the characteristic of the perfectly established.' This means that the five are included in the three: name, sign, and complete imagination are all imagined, and the two natures are dependent on others. True wisdom and suchness are the characteristics of the perfectly established. Because it is perfectly established, it is the nature of non-dual wisdom. The explanation of the Holy Lankavatara Sutra, the second part of the analysis of the five dharmas from the sixth chapter composed by Yeshe Palzang. Then, again, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Mahamati asked the Bhagavan: 'In the teachings spoken by the Bhagavan, such as the Tathagatas who have passed, will come, and are present, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, etc., how do you, Mahamati, understand this?' The number of sands is limited, but the number of Tathagatas who have passed in the three times is unlimited. After asking in this way, the Bhagavan replied: 'It should not be taken according to the literal meaning.' It is said that in order for beings like small insects to easily attain the state of Tathagata, many are placed as examples. The example of the Udumbara flower is said to be difficult to obtain for those who are very devout. Therefore, it should be understood according to the literal meaning, and one should follow the meaning, not the letters. In order to understand the various thoughts of beings through skillful means, the dharmas spoken by the Omniscient One contain many different intentions. Therefore, wise people should understand the excellent dharma according to reason. The Ganges'

Like the Dharma nature of sand in the wind, the Omniscient Ones do not reveal meaning through sound, because the Buddhas are numerous, pure, inexhaustible, undisturbed, and solely pure. Therefore, the Lords of Speech who abide in the Samadhi of the Mandala of Sound will emit diverse sounds. The Tathagata of Suchness, whose nature is non-dual, non-conceptual, and without appearance, truly knows existence and non-existence with correct wisdom, without discrimination. There, in the realm of duality, all worldly expressions cannot enter. The Suchness that is without appearance and non-dual, the Tathagatas do not use the distinction of the sands of the Ganges as a metaphor. However, for children, they speak of metaphors such as sand. When contemplating the common and unique aspects of the Tathagatagarbha, like fire, all sentient beings are regarded as possessing the Tathagatagarbha. In the appearance of duality, there are expressions of distinction, but they cannot be spoken, so they do not exist in the momentary continuum. Therefore, in this way, having abandoned the discrimination of existence and non-existence, like the sands of the Ganges, there is no discrimination. As it is said in the Prajnaparamita Sutra, "The equality of existence and non-existence is direct realization." Being free from defilements means being free from the defilements of desire, hatred, and ignorance. The explanation of the ten powers and fearlessness, etc., should be understood extensively from the Abhidharma. The power of knowing what is possible and impossible is the wisdom of acceptance and rejection of all the Omniscient Ones. The power of knowing death and birth is the power of the wisdom of the three times, and so on. The reason for having no attachment or aversion is that for the beings of non-Buddhists and Shravakas, loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity are extensively taught, which is the equality of wisdom. The Dharmakaya of the Tathagatas, just as dust particles are connected to the fire element but are not burned, so too the Dharmakaya will not be destroyed. The light rays of the Tathagatas appear inexhaustible, meaning boundless.
