Now, for those who have afflictions and pure karmic results, relevant arrangements are made. Those who abide in meditative stabilizations with and without appearances are the all-knowing ones, who are non-dual beings who have transcended discriminations of existence, non-existence, oneness, otherness, both, neither, neither existence nor non-existence, permanence and impermanence, and so on. The so-called "connection of the boundaries of the grounds," although it is said there, "For the formless, where would there be a sequence?", however, through the meditative stabilization with appearances, the boundaries of the sequence of grounds can be connected. In this sutra, the Thus-Gone One enters the twelve grounds. The so-called being separate from the aspects of existence and non-existence refers to those who are free from the discriminations of things and non-things, and who have entered the non-dual state; they do not say that things arise from the agent and the act. Ne (藏文:ནེ་), Yi (藏文:ཡི་), Ya (藏文:ཡ་), Ka (藏文:ཀ་), etc., refer to the discrimination that results arise from nothing, and that existing things are also destroyed by conditions, etc. Like a dream, things are either not produced or have been produced; this should be said. Opponents with great wisdom, because they seek faults in the limbs of the three kinds of valid cognition, should not initially vow that all phenomena are empty. What is the intention of the all-knowing one? The characteristics of the three natures should be established for valid cognition. What does it refer to? Because of measurement, it is determined to be similar, and whether things exist or not. It is not permissible to prove by oath, because it causes doubt. Because it is said to be pervasive in relation to the characteristics of the three natures, understanding does not consider comparison and summary. That is so, it is the nature of that, and the characteristic related to that which is produced in that way. It is understood through the three natures, and also, without relying on relationship, it is not permissible to prove or refute merely by seeing and not seeing. For those beings for whom emptiness is bliss, afflictions and purification cannot be arranged, just as the son of a barren woman, etc., is empty. If it is argued again that there are no things, then the views of all schools are merely dreamlike appearances.

Ah! Like a magic trick, distinctions are made between phenomena and entities possessing phenomena, but it is not empty like a flower in the sky. The Blessed One considered that, just as children grasp things as real, they do not exist in that way. Therefore, for those ordinary beings who have not understood that the appearance of their own minds is merely appearance, they will cling to permanence, self, and external objects. That is to say, they will cling to the five points of contention such as permanence, oneness, both, neither, existence, non-existence, and so on. Mere appearance can be a valid cognition, a difference of what is to be measured, and a thing of cause and effect. Dependent arising is not non-arising, but is without connection and separate from additional agents, actors, producers, generators, and so on. It is merely a thing of cause and effect, that is, 'because the former exists, the latter exists.' Entering simultaneously and sequentially, and without connection, means that when one instant exists, other instants do not exist, and one instant is not connected to anything. Therefore, without understanding the nature of the instant, the imputed phenomena, such as the inexpressible dependent arising, and selflessness, are impossible, as has been answered many times. By meditating on dependent arising, impermanence, suffering, impurity, and so on, because afflictions such as desire are completely exhausted, one enters the cessation of the suffering of samsara. When meditating on emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, one investigates with wisdom, attains samadhi with and without appearance, embraced by compassion, and enters omniscience for the benefit of others. The omniscient one teaches that the appearance of each thing is proven by various causes and examples, entering into characteristics in a pervasive way, just as clinging to the mirage of a dry land as water, perversely adding to it, thereby generating strong attachment. Similarly, being confused and fainting at the appearance of consciousness is also a delusion about external objects. Like this
