There, the self-nature that is non-dual is inexpressible, because the all-knowing ones also generally postulate, in the manner of manifestation, it is the method of skillfully mastering various means. Those who are not spoken by vidyādharas are like the sound of the forest, and the sound of bamboo moved by the power of the wind, etc., because they are meaningless. Therefore, the aggregates, elements, sense bases, dependent origination, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the ten powers, the fearlessnesses, etc., together with appearance and non-appearance, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, cessation, and similarly entering into the formless absorptions, and the dharma that shows two and non-two are generally postulated, and making scriptures is because one cannot express self-nature with sound. Why? The difference between meaning and sound is that speaking and what is spoken are not desired, because he has not seen it before, so it should be spoken universally. At the time of imputation and designation, the meaning of sound appears as an image in the universal nature. Among them, designation refers to self-nature. At the time of imputation, although seen, it is not seen, and at both times, whatever appears universally, whatever has horns and tails, etc., should be called a cow. Therefore, this has horns, etc., therefore it is called the sound of a cow. Even if the self-nature is directly realized, the differences such as the horn being bent and treating the abdomen, etc., will not be distinguished, but will be generally and approximately distinguished. The sign of entering into the manifest, the hidden, and the subsequent, that is called the meaning of sound, and the details can be understood from the "Treatise on Sound" and the "Ornament of Reasoning," etc. The sixth examination of the meaning of sound from the second chapter of the "Holy Lankavatara Sutra" composed by Yeshe Palsangpo. Then, again, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Great Wisdom Bodhisattva said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, the self-mind appearance of all dharmas, the nature of being distinguished by discrimination, existing and not existing, one and different, two

And neither both, nor neither; neither existent, nor non-existent; abandoning permanence and impermanence, the non-arising of the conceptualizations of the non-Buddhists, the noble ones know through their own wisdom, being contrary to the self-character and general character of what is imputed; entering into the ultimate reality, connecting the boundaries of the grounds, having the characteristic of being completely purified from above to above, being the characteristic of following the ground of the Thus-Gone One, spontaneously accomplished by previous aspirations. Like entering into various shapes of jewels, instantly traveling extensively to limitless realms, etc., to such disputes and many doubts, the All-Knowing One answers according to reason. Great Wisdom! The various childish beings do not comprehend that their own mind is merely an appearance, and because of their attachment to various external objects, they conceptualize existence, non-existence, oneness, otherness, both, neither both, neither existence nor non-existence, and the nature of permanence and impermanence, being attached to the cause of habitual tendencies, thus they conceptualize. Those who are attached to external objects and assert non-existence make unreal conceptualizations.

Becoming purely of self-nature, and becoming non-differentiated self-nature, and becoming both common and differentiated self-nature, and also becoming neither common nor differentiated self-nature, one should not say that becoming the self-nature of the common is the self-nature of the differentiated. One should not say that becoming the non-differentiated self-nature is the self-nature of the common. One should not say simultaneously that becoming both common and differentiated self-nature, and also becoming neither common nor differentiated self-nature. Observing the place and time, the order and the form, one should not say everything. Whatever performs the function of things conforms to the terminology of epistemology, so it exists. The remaining generally speculated things, because they cannot perform the function, are only completely imputed. The single and different two statements made by wise people, it is impossible for one thing to have two self-natures. The so-called permanent and impermanent are said to be established by the Nyaya and Vaisheshika schools, the substance with limbs is impermanent, and the constituent atoms are permanent, because they have no limbs to separate. Combining can be separated, etc., distinguishing differences is permanent, which means that the nature of those immovable dharmas, and other changing dharmas, is only non-discrimination, if clearly distinguished in order, like wood and ashes, it should not be considered as one. Those who say non-dualism, say that the whole world of many words, even the nature of Brahma and Indra, etc., are completely imputed, in this way, the faults of liberation and non-liberation, poverty and wealth, etc., becoming one will also occur. Therefore, the Mind-Only realized by the Omniscient One, because it is not understood, those who say dual and non-dual, in the mind stream, cling to external objects as real, and cling to permanence and oneness. Therefore, in the mind stream, defilement and purification can be established. Among them, differences can be distinguished by the power of the self and other streams. This mind is naturally luminous, through the manifest actions of good and non-good, whoever completely subdues it in whatever way, will achieve it in that way. Therefore, in that way, the action of emptiness.
