Because this is extremely profound, it is not entrusted to the venerable Ananda, but to bodhisattvas such as the Medicine King. Just as a great physician can transform poison into medicine, an unskilled physician cannot. Similarly, this Dharma should be entrusted to bodhisattvas, not to hearers, because bodhisattvas reach the ultimate merely by hearing, and they accomplish the benefit of themselves and others. In the sutra, from 'Then, the Blessed One' to 'one should pay homage to those who uphold it,' the following sixteen lines are divided into three

po'o. The Dharma speaker does so in order to obtain the supreme fruit. The sutra says: 'They always fold their palms.' Up to 'doing the work of the Tathagata,' it shows that holding this will bring great merit, namely, reverence, offering, listening, reciting, and chanting. The sutra says: 'If something bad happens, I will give it up.' Up to 'Saying that sin is very much,' the two verses show the difference of sins, and the four verses show the difference of virtues. The sutra says: 'Whoever praises me openly.' Up to 'That person will gain great merit,' it shows the difference of merit. The sutra says: 'Joyfully praising me.' Up to 'He will obtain great miracles,' it shows the merit of hearing the Dharma and the difference between internal and external offerings. The sutra says: 'Medicine King, you should believe.' Up to 'Should be declared,' it shows the special nature of this Dharma. The sutra says: 'Medicine King, these scriptures of the Dharma.' Up to 'Will not have faith,' it shows the Dharma speaker himself, which was previously expressed in single sentences, and later summarized in verses. Single sentences are difficult to understand the Dharma, and it shows that the place of recitation becomes a stupa, and it shows the behavior of the retinue. The sutra says: 'Medicine King, this.' Up to 'Not to mention,' it shows that the Blessed One also kept it secret when he was alive, because universal declaration is also difficult to understand, so in the future, if it is declared to those whose faculties are not mature, they will slander, so do not declare it. The sutra says: 'Like this, Medicine King.' Up to 'Will be touched on the head by the hand of the Tathagata,' it shows that the power of this Dharma makes the reciter a person with merit, the robe of the Tathagata is patience, peace, gentleness, love and compassion, abandoning shame and scruples, being covered by the robe, for the sake of maturing the faculties, the Buddhas will remember and protect, will become very devout, will become the nature of having strong wishes and firm faith, will become a person with good roots.

Moreover, the difference between emptiness and compassion is assimilated like the Bhagavan, and one obtains the prediction that the Tathagata will touch the crown of the head with his hand and abide in the world. In the sutra, from "King of Medicine" to "should be offered," it shows that the Dharmakaya and relics should be offered. Among them, the first is the display of the Dharmakaya and relics, and based on this, it shows that the speaker will become a virtuous person. This Dharma and relics should be offered because they possess scriptures and wisdom, which can open up true wisdom for sentient beings, and can realize, understand, and enter the teachings. In the sutra, from "King of Medicine" to "should be known to be very close," it shows that based on this Dharma, the speaker will become a virtuous person, that is, approaching Bodhi, focusing on excellent behavior, and showing that great Bodhi will be achieved. In the sutra, from "Why is that?" to "is a nearby place," it shows that hearing this Dharma is the cause of focusing on excellent behavior, that is, seeing, hearing, reading, reciting, asking, holding, and offering. These are also divided into three types: metaphor, meaning, and summary. Furthermore, the wisdom of seeing, thinking, and meditating are combined accordingly. In the sutra, from "For example, the King of Medicine" to "saying that this water is near," it shows the metaphor, that is, the learner initiates diligence, abides in samsara, and seeks the right path. Alternatively, in the commentary, it is also said that water is the nature of the Tathagatagarbha. Digging refers to taking correct wisdom as the guide and striving through the actions of body, speech, and mind. Seeing dry land is combined with the explanation of guiding the teachings of the two vehicles. Seeing moist land is encountering the Prajnaparamita Mahayana teachings, which means approaching unsurpassed Bodhi. The commentary also says that the person who holds this sutra encounters the water of the Tathagatagarbha nature, therefore it means approaching unsurpassed Bodhi. In the sutra, from "Thus, King of Medicine" to "Unsurpassed Perfect
