After not arising, it is said that the uncompounded cessation of observing its various aspects is manifested. Some say that, in the true sense, both obscurations can be included, but in the sutras and treatises, only the obscuration of knowledge is considered to obscure the ten bhumis, therefore, bodhisattvas should abandon it. Among them, the so-called "faults" are also explained differently in various teachings. In the Sutra of Complete Liberation from Boundaries, it appears as "eleven faults of incompatibility." In the Sutra of Profound Meaning Liberation, it appears as "eleven incompatible aspects." In the Noble Golden Light Sutra, it appears that "faults" refer to dwelling in two minds. Although the words used in various teachings are different, the meanings are not contradictory. In the translation of the commentary on the Compendium of the Great Vehicle, it appears as "the fully ripened result of faults," which is because the translator translated it truthfully, but it is not said that it appears that way in the original Indian text. In the treatise Establishment of Consciousness Only, two types are explained. Therefore, in that treatise itself, the so-called "faults" are either those two types, or it emphasizes the infeasible karma arising from those two types. For example, just as it is said that by entering into two samadhis, suffering is abandoned, even though suffering itself is not the seed of manifestation, it is also called a fault, so it is here as well. The "faults" that appear below are also applied in the same way. The second bhumi has two universal obscurations: the universal obscuration of confusion about subtle downfalls, and the universal obscuration about the various ways of karma. The so-called "its fault is an incompatible aspect" refers to the obscuration of the second stainless bhumi. If combined with the treatise Establishment of Consciousness Only, there are two explanations in it. Some say that the so-called "universal obscuration of confusion about subtle downfalls" refers to one aspect of co-emergence. The so-called "universal obscuration about the various ways of karma" refers to that which arises from that.

So, what are the three actions of the faults of the errors of a child? Some say that it is only from the complete ignorance of the action of not thinking that arises. The former means that it shows complete ignorance of both aspects of complete ignorance. The latter means that, in order, it shows the complete ignorance of initiating action and the complete ignorance of not thinking about action. The two ignorances mentioned above are the very obstacles that are perversely established from the ten obstacles. The third ground has two kinds of complete ignorance: the complete ignorance of desire's attachment to desire, and the complete ignorance of the complete perfection of the form of hearing, and its adverse aspect of unfavorable circumstances, which is called the obscuration of the third, the illuminating ground. In the Treatise on the Establishment of Mere Consciousness, the complete ignorance of desire's attachment to desire is that which obscures the supreme samadhi and the wisdom of meditation, because it has often dwelt together with desire's attachment to desire in the past, so it is called desire's attachment to desire. Here, by obtaining what arises from supreme samadhi and meditation, one abandons desire's attachment to desire, because from beginningless time one has followed it, so it is in order to completely suppress it. The complete ignorance of the complete perfection of the form of hearing is said to be that which obscures dharani and hearing and the wisdom of thought, and thus it shows the non-abiding obscuration of the two complete ignorances. The fourth ground has two kinds of complete ignorance: the complete ignorance of craving for absorption, and the complete ignorance of craving for dharma, and its adverse aspect of unfavorable circumstances, which is called the obscuration of the fourth, the radiant ground. In the Treatise on the Establishment of Mere Consciousness, the complete ignorance of craving for absorption is that which is accompanied by craving for samadhi. The complete ignorance of craving for dharma is that which is accompanied by craving for dharma, and is included in the obscuration of the knowable. Because the two complete ignorances have been abandoned, the two cravings of affliction will not arise completely.
