It is said that this is the meaning. Here, if we examine the intentions of the treatises, since from the correct reasoning, it is considered that names and so on are also correct meanings, therefore, from its conclusion, it is summarized that the teaching of the Tathagata is definitely only indicating the name, and definitely the name is the self-nature. If combined with this, the treasury treatise also agrees with the treatise of correct reasoning, like this, because it does not refute it from there, and there is no contradiction in meaning. Or the later teacher's own established tenet has been admitted to be defeated, the teacher who created the correct reasoning did not separately show failure and victory, if combined with the correct meaning spoken by the examiners in the Great Vibhasha Treatise, then explaining words is also the correct meaning, therefore, the Great Vibhasha Treatise says like this, what is the self-nature of the teachings of the Tathagata? Is it the action of speech? Or is it names and so on? The answer is that all that is spoken by the complete enjoyment and the incarnation are explanations, therefore the action of speech is the self-nature. If so, then how can everything said below be established? As it is said, what is the teaching of the Tathagata called? The answer is, like this, the collection of names, the collection of sentences, and the collection of letters, arranged in order, placed in order, and connected in order. If it is said like this, the appearance of letters below is to show the power of the Tathagata's teaching, but it is not intended to separately distinguish the self-nature of the Buddha's teaching itself, like this, arranging in order, placing and connecting, the collection of names, sentences and letters is the power of the Buddha's teaching. Some say that the teaching of the Tathagata takes names and so on as its self-nature. If so, then how can it be said like this? As it is said, what is the teaching of the Buddha like? The answer is, like this, the Buddha's words, expressions, associations, the path of language, the action of language, and the expression of language are called the Buddha's teaching.

If asked what is "wa" and the like, it is said that way because it relies on the cause of transmission. Just as in the world, children have the nature of procreating each other, speech generates names, and names clarify meanings. If we look at how it is said to arise from the explanations of treatises, it is the nature of the action of speech, because the words spoken by the Tathagata are for the sake of others hearing them. The details are as they appear from there. Furthermore, if it does not rely on valid reasoning and the Great Commentary (Mahavibhasa) and so on, then why does it not rely on the correct meaning explained by the treatises? Because the reasoning spoken by the scholar Dushyanta is excellent and supreme, names and so on are also correct. In this way, it is established separately by reasoning. In the commentary on this very text, it is said that the sound of this text is explained as its nature, from the perspective of the number of dharmas, it is considered that only one sound dharma is its nature. Names and so on are shown to be the nature, because names and so on show three dharmas to be the nature. If it is summarized into one, then it is considered that summarizing four dharmas is the nature, such as sound and names and so on. The correct meaning explained by the treatises says that the sound dharma is the nature. The Sutra masters say that sound is the nature. Therefore, in the treatises that conform to valid reasoning, it appears from the section refuting the Sutra masters: "You people who say that the collection of names, words, and letters is by nature sound!" In the commentary on the Mahayana-samgraha by the scholar Asanga, it is refuted that it is unreasonable for the Sutra masters to say that words are the nature. Relying on this very text, three scholars teach in this way: Some say that the sound element from the twelve sources is the nature, because apart from sound, there is no other collection of names, words, and letters. Some say that the imputed sound that does not cease from the dharma element is the nature, because the consciousness takes it as its object.

This is because it is merely the nature of imputation. Some say that both the sounds of imputation and substance are the nature, because of the above two meanings. Why do the Sutra masters think that there are these three kinds of situations? This is because the Tripitaka masters said: Taking the Sutra as the standard, all those who explain the meaning separately are called Sutra masters. Therefore, the Sutra masters would think that there are these three kinds of situations. Their treatises also differ in the establishment of Dharmas. Some say that there is no mental factor apart from the mind, such as Upagupta. Venerable Realization God also said the same thing. If these are combined with the treatises, there are nineteen kinds. Like this, there are fourteen kinds of form, namely the five sense faculties, the five objects, and the four great elements. There is only one mind, because there is no mental factor. There is only one non-associated formation, namely unconditioned phenomena. There are three kinds of unconditioned phenomena, namely space, analytical cessation, and non-analytical cessation. Those who think that there are mental factors also have two different statements. Some say that there are three mental factors apart from the mind, namely feeling, perception, and volition. For example, Śrīla. Some say that there are four kinds, that is, adding contact. If combined with this statement, there are twenty-two kinds of Dharmas, or twenty-three kinds of Dharmas, that is, adding three or four kinds of Dharmas to the previous nineteen kinds of Dharmas. Although the amount is different, they all think that the source of sound is the nature, because the nature of the constantly imputed sound does not exist independently. If combined with this Mahayana treatise, there are also two different statements. The first is Nāgārjuna's treatise, there is no treatise that clearly shows the amount of Dharmas, in the Prajñāpāramitā commentary.
