I, the speech is also thus. Now, the prostrations with body and so on will be explained separately. Among them, the prostration of the body is, such as "as many as the dust motes of the fields," etc., prostrating with bodies as many as the dust motes of the Buddha-fields. "As many as" is a category of simile, that is, to the Sugatas who have gone to the ten directions and three times, prostrating with bodies as numerous as Buddha-fields, with utmost reverence. I prostrate to all the Victors with utmost reverence. "Victors" are so-called because they have conquered the enemy of afflictions and the demons, hence the Buddha is called Victor. As the Buddha, the Bhagavan, once said: "By conquering sinful dharmas, the one who is near to peace is the Victor." And so on. Thus, I prostrate to all the Victors who have gone to the three times. If one focuses the mind on one Bhagavan, it is feared that it will not pervade others, therefore it is said, "All the Victors appear vividly before my mind." It means that all the Tathagatas appear vividly, one by one, in the mind. As for "with the power of the aspiration of the Good Conduct," "Good" is virtue. "Good" is both good and conduct, therefore it is called "Good Conduct," which is synonymous with the conduct of a Bodhisattva. Because it is an aspiration made for this, it is called "aspiration." With its power, it is not overcome by afflictions and so on, and it subdues unfavorable qualities, therefore it is called "power." Because such an action does not arise from other means. Now, it is prostration with the mind, that is, "on one atom, there are as many atoms," and so on. "On one atom, there are as many Buddhas" is said because, without specifying, it refers to the Sugatas who have gone to the ten directions and three times, as many as the dust motes of the Buddha-fields. "Dwelling in the midst of the Buddha's children" means that each one dwells in the midst of countless Bodhisattva assemblies. Just as one thinks on one atom, one should think in the same way in all places. Thus, all the realms of Dharma without exception.

Furthermore, upon a single atom, each Buddha within the atom is entirely surrounded and filled without any gaps by a multitude of countless Bodhisattvas. One should mentally rejoice in this. Since the actions of body and purification are generated by the mind, the actions of the mind are described in between. Now, the act of paying homage with speech is described as "Their praises are inexhaustible," and so on. "Their" refers to how one should mentally rejoice. Since there is ultimately no end, it is inexhaustible. "Ocean of praises" refers to the ocean of virtues. Their praises are inexhaustible like the ocean. "Praise" is a synonym for virtue. "Ocean" should be understood as the meaning of multitude. In "With all the sounds of the ocean of melodious limbs," "limb" is a synonym for virtue. How so? For example, in the Hearer Vehicle, it is said that the Bhagavan's melodious voice possesses five limbs, and in the Great Vehicle, it is said to possess sixty limbs, and to possess sixteen thousand limbs, and to possess immeasurable limbs. Thus, it should be understood as possessing five virtues and so on. Now, regarding those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, among the two types of offerings, superior and unsurpassed, there are two verses of the superior offering, namely "Excellent flowers," and so on. What are the excellent flowers and so on? They are excellent flowers, excellent garlands, excellent musical instruments, excellent banners, excellent sandalwood, excellent ointments such as saffron, excellent umbrellas, excellent lamps, excellent incense, excellent garments, excellent fragrances of mixed perfumes, and piles of sandalwood, saffron, camphor, agarwood, and so on, stacked as high as Mount Meru. With all excellent and special ornaments. In "With all excellent and special ornaments," "excellent ornaments" is a synonym for multitude. With the excellent ones possessing all aspects of gods and humans, I offer to all those victorious ones. Now, the unsurpassed offering is to be explained, namely "What offerings are unsurpassed," and so on. The vast unsurpassed offering is that which arises from the power of the special Samadhi of the Bodhisattva.
