And, it is also impossible to specify from the middle of existence and non-existence, therefore, thus it is taught that all dharmas are emptiness. If asked: How is it taught that dharmas are without self? It is completely shown to specify in one way. Among them, this unspecifiable refers to what is specified on the thing itself, which is the realm of the wisdom of the noble ones, each known by their own wisdom, and cannot be spoken by others. This is specified in six ways, which is different from the nature of the terms completely distinguished by children. What are the six ways? "Light is permanent" is called one extreme. "Impermanent" is called the second extreme. What is in the middle of these two extremes of light? It is inconceivable, unteachable, non-dependent, without appearance, without discrimination, and without abiding. This is the Middle Way, which is the correct and distinct understanding of all dharmas. As it is said. Among them, "inconceivable" means that one cannot distinguish "this is this" with one's own discrimination. "Unteachable" means that it cannot be taught to others. "Non-dependent" means that it is completely beyond the realm of the colored senses, therefore the colored senses do not abide in it. "Without appearance" means that it is not the nature of characteristics. "Without discrimination" means that it is not the object of the mind's consciousness. "Without abiding" means that it is not the place of afflictions. Thus, in six ways that do not conform to the nature of terms completely distinguished by children, it is completely specified in the wisdom of the noble ones, thereby teaching that dharmas are without self. If asked: How to teach the extreme of superimposition? In two ways: the complete display of differential superimposition and the complete display of self-nature superimposition. Among them, what is differential superimposition? This should be understood in eight ways from top to bottom, that is, the superimposition of clinging to permanence on the thing itself, the superimposition of clinging to impermanence, the superimposition of clinging to self based on the superimposition of clinging to permanence, and the superimposition of clinging to non-self based on the superimposition of clinging to impermanence.

Attachment and, attachment to selflessness, relying on attachment to attach to the mind being upright, relying on attachment to self to attach to the mind not being upright, that is also certain and, completely seeking. To attach to permanence to the thing itself is because (the Buddha) said, "Light Protector is permanent, that is one extreme." To attach to impermanence is because (the Buddha) said, "Impermanence, that is two extremes." Relying on attachment to permanence to attach to self is because (the Buddha) said, "Light Protector is self, that is one extreme." Relying on attachment to impermanence to attach to selflessness is because (the Buddha) said, "Selflessness, that is two extremes." Relying on attachment to selflessness to attach to the mind being upright is because (the Buddha) said, "Light Protector, the mind is upright, that is one extreme." Relying on attachment to self to attach to the mind not being upright is because (the Buddha) said, "The mind is not upright, that is two extremes." To attach to the mind being upright, that is also certain and completely seeking. Completely seeking is the place of complete discrimination and, complete discrimination and being extremely corresponding. Relying on attachment to the mind not being upright to attach to non-virtue etc., from attachment to until complete affliction attachment in between. The five faults of the opposing side, the completely afflicted Dharma classes, are, the fault of perversion and, the fault of giving and, the Dharma classes arising from misdeeds and, the fault of bad rebirth and, the fault of impermanence. Relying on attachment to the mind being upright is, for whom there is no mind and, no consciousness and, no mind and, no discriminating consciousness, that is Light Protector, called truly discriminating the Dharma classes of the Middle Way, virtue and, non-virtue etc. and, mundane and, supramundane etc. and, with fault and, without fault etc. and, outflows.
