According to faith and understanding, in order to accord with the minds of sentient beings, the Blessed One also shows small conduct to the Shravakas and others. For Bodhisattvas, vast conduct is not contradictory. By showing the solitary place, it also shows that the Blessed One dwells in true meditative absorption within. By dwelling in Rajagrha (present-day Rajgir, Bihar, India), it shows the perfection of benefiting others. There, both self-benefit and the benefit of others are perfected. Therefore, only the difference of place is mentioned, not the difference of time. In this way, by mentioning the difference of place, it shows that the Blessed One dwells there by teaching the Dharma and by conduct. By these two ways of dwelling, it should be known that the Blessed One is doing the work of benefiting others. In this way, by dwelling while teaching the Dharma, it is truly revealed, truly causing people to receive it, praising the raft, and making people rejoice, thereby liberating them from the lower realms and samsara, and well establishing them in the good realms and the three vehicles, therefore it should be known that the Blessed One has done immeasurable benefits for sentient beings. By dwelling through conduct, also because of going for alms and so on, the women, the elderly, the sick, the poor, etc. of the village, even if they offer a little food etc. to the Blessed One, it can increase immeasurable merit. Constantly showing various miracles, causing the blind and others to obtain eyes etc., causing the non-believers to generate faith, and causing the believers to increase their faith, just as it is said in the Sutras. It should be known that the two ways of dwelling of the Blessed One are for immeasurable benefit to others. Because mentioning the difference of time does not show any perfection, therefore time is not mentioned, because time is constantly changing, there is no certainty about time, and it is difficult to measure. Because in a single moment, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas also show many differences such as kalpas, days, months, etc. Therefore, because it is not possible to determine time, time is not mentioned. Others replied: At that time, the Blessed One also appears in other places, from different places.

When stating the difference of time, at that time, the Blessed One was staying in our presence. If there is a dispute saying "staying in our presence," then the determination of time is not made. So, stating this difference of place, why wouldn't it become a dispute? Because at that time, the Blessed One would also appear in other places. However, if those people do not argue there because they believe in the inconceivable difference of the Blessed One's power, then it will not be determined at any time, and this is the meaning of "gyi." Staying in the true meditation within shows the perfection of self-interest. It is reasonable to take refuge in a teacher who is perfect in both self-interest and the interest of others. The teachings he speaks are not deceptive, so they can be regarded as valid. Therefore, in order to generate respect for the words spoken by the Blessed One, both perfections are mentioned. Also, if one wonders who has this authority, the term "great" is spoken, because they have subdued the afflictions, so they are monks. Those who gather together are not separated by demons, etc., and because they gather together, they are called the Sangha. The term "great assembly of Bodhisattvas" should be used in conjunction with the word "means." Those are either to make sentient beings understand, or to place them in Bodhi, or because they are Bodhisattvas, they are Bodhisattvas. The gathering of those is an assembly, and both Sanghas are great in terms of both number and quality. In order to show that the Shravakas will also enter the Mahayana, when explaining the Mahayana sutras, the Shravakas are also explained, but the Bodhisattvas are not explained when explaining the Shravaka sutras, because those people do not enter there. The Sangha of monks, because it is similar to ordination, has done what should be done, and is dedicated to their own benefit, always serving the Blessed One, and in order to state that one should respect the ordained, it is shown in the front. The names of the Bodhisattvas are mentioned with "for example," etc., because those people are famous for their great power, and the sutras are also explained for those people. The names of the Shravakas are not mentioned because those people are the opposite of this. Called "great mind," mind
