Because it is spoken having abandoned the habitual tendencies of the earth. Unobstructed because it does not speak repetitive words and letters. Complete because it shows that words and letters are without defect. Certain words because it does not speak words that negate others. Immovable words because heretics and others cannot hide or refute them. Or, because it shows that those who are tamed do not exceed the time of complete maturation, therefore it is immovable. Even if praised, it does not generate arrogant afflictions, therefore it is not coarse. Even if disparaged, it does not generate dejected afflictions, therefore it is peaceful. Because all people respect his words, therefore it is acceptable words. Because all his words are listened to, therefore it is respectful words. Because it is related to words and meanings, or includes from briefly indicating to explaining in detail, therefore it is related words. Because it makes the roots of virtue of all sentient beings increase and become vast, therefore it is unadulterated words. Because it does not contradict the three valid cognitions, therefore it is very reasonable words. Because for sentient beings who have not generated roots of virtue, it enables them to generate; for those who have already generated, it enables them to increase; for those who have already increased, it enables them to mature, therefore it is complete words. Because it shows beautiful meanings, therefore it is pleasing words. Because it shows beautiful letters, therefore it is gentle words. Because it does not change what has been promised, therefore it is not deceiving words. Because it benefits all the retinue and gathers the retinue, therefore it is very receptive words. Because the Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Tathagatas all praise, therefore it is praised by all the noble ones. The sound called following the limitless fields is because the words arising from confidence can pervade limitless Buddha-fields. The sound called distinguishing and understanding the voice of Brahma, Brahma refers to Nirvana, meaning skilled in or able to show the sound of Nirvana. With what the Buddha said, etc., the Bodhisattva has the confidence of the Buddhas' teachings, and is able to know the superior and non-superior faculties of sentient beings,

It means to teach the Dharma in accordance with the one who tames. His teaching will also arise in order to completely exhaust suffering, and "that which does that" refers to exhausting suffering. The words of the Bodhisattva's teaching arise in order to completely exhaust suffering, that is its meaning. This refers to the individual fearless wisdom. The four individual fearless wisdoms have been explained. In order to teach the Bodhisattva who is practicing, the venerable son of Sharadvati also spoke of the four inexhaustible teachings of the Bodhisattvas, etc. That inexhaustibility is because of the meaning of reliance, wisdom, the meaning of certainty, and the inexhaustibility of Dharma nature. Here, too, the method of teaching and explanation should be understood. What are the four? For example, "like this" etc. is the method of teaching, and the rest is the method of explanation. The meaning of the four reliances should be understood. If one relies on meaning etc., the individual fearless wisdom as mentioned above will arise. Therefore, the method of knowing the meaning contained in the four reliances should be combined with the teaching. There are four types of Bodhisattvas who are practicing: those who seek the Dharma extremely, those who seek thought extremely, those who make diligence the essence, and those who do not rely on others. From the perspective of seeking the Dharma extremely, what is the meaning, and what are the words? etc. What is called "that which enters into worldly Dharma and action" refers to the teaching that imputes and expresses worldly Dharma, karma and result, etc., and is called words. What is called "meaning" refers to the realization of the Dharma that transcends the world, that is, the meaning of emptiness that transcends the Dharma that is imputed as worldly terms such as karma and result, etc., and is separated from their characteristics, and is called meaning. Similarly, the following should also be combined according to the situation. In short, whatever explains and relates to conventional Dharmas is called words. Conversely, transcending explanation and expression, etc., and realizing the nature of ultimate truth is called meaning.
