What is fearlessness, what is it about, and how is it fearless? In this regard, it is as follows: From "predicting without attachment" to "having fruit," it shows what fearlessness is. From "fearlessness as asked" to "fearlessness in satisfying the minds of all sentient beings," it shows what it is about. From "not abandoning, not being dull" to "in order to completely exhaust suffering," it shows how it is fearless. The so-called "knowing the teaching of predicting without attachment" refers to knowing the teaching of predicting by answering questions, that is, for any Dharma and meaning that is asked, one can know it without thinking, which is without attachment. The so-called "knowing the teaching of predicting separately" refers to being able to teach separately even if many different questions are asked at the same time. The so-called "knowing the teaching of predicting without hindrance" refers to not being overwhelmed by the arguments of outsiders and being without any obstacles. Or, being able to teach some Dharmas but not being able to teach some Dharmas is attachment. Bodhisattvas can teach everything, so they are "knowing the teaching of predicting without attachment." Teaching based on certain causes and conditions is an obstacle. Teaching without relying on anything is called "knowing the teaching of predicting without hindrance." The so-called "swift fearlessness" refers to not being confused when others ask questions, and answering quickly, and quickly entering the meaning of the Dharma. The so-called "thorough fearlessness" refers to being able to fully teach the meaning of what is asked even if only a little is asked. The so-called "agile fearlessness" refers to being able to understand subtle and profound meanings. The so-called "fruitful fearlessness" refers to being able to truly realize and attain liberation through this fearlessness. The so-called "fearlessness as asked" refers to being able to teach any Dharma that is asked. The so-called "unseizable fearlessness" refers to the fearlessness of the Bodhisattva not being overwhelmed by others. The so-called "completely undiminished fearlessness" refers to this fearlessness not diminishing at any time. The so-called "very related fearlessness" refers to words and meanings

It is because of speaking of the interconnectedness. The fearlessness of realization is because that fearlessness enables the realization of whatever Dharma is taught. The fearlessness of delighting in the Dharma is because of abandoning idle talk and always speaking only of Dharma. The fearlessness of abiding in the power of patience is because even if harsh words are spoken, anger does not arise, and harsh words are not spoken. The fearlessness regarding the profound is because of unerringly teaching the Dharma of emptiness alone. The fearlessness of various kinds is because of being skilled in teaching various kinds of conventional speech. The fearlessness regarding the conventional and the ultimate is because of unerringly teaching the Dharma that includes both the conventional and the ultimate. The so-called "Buddha's Dharma" and so on, is because the words of the twelve divisions of scripture spoken by the Buddha are separated one by one, and the teachings are taught skillfully and without obstruction. The so-called knowing the Dharma of words by realizing any definite word is because that fearlessness realizes the nature of definite words such as "form" and so on, including obstacles, and is therefore skilled in all Dharmas that should be made into words. The so-called fearlessness of knowing entry is because that fearlessness enters into the nature of those mentioned above, and is able to realize the nature of those Dharmas. The so-called fearlessness regarding all vehicles is because of teaching all vehicles. The so-called teaching as it is, is because each teaches the Dharmas they believe in as they are. Not abandoning is because there are no errors in words. Not being dull is because there is no lack of clarity in words. Unrefined words are because there are no words or letters that are displeasing to the mind. Teaching is because the Dharmas are taught as they are. Not being harsh is because it teaches an easy way to understand the ultimate truth. Alternatively, not being unrefined is because even if one has transgressed the precepts, it teaches a way to recover from them. Not being harsh is because it does not teach a meaningless path to ascetic practitioners of other religions. Gentle is because even when teaching the Dharma, it satisfies the minds of beings. Pure is because it is spoken with the pure wisdom obtained after transcending the world. Completely liberated is because afflictions
