Those roots of virtue of the Bodhisattva, accomplished by means and wisdom, those also become even more purified and exceedingly bright, and cannot be taken away by all the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, so it is said. The example of the sun's light fully shows the difference as before, because, O sons of the Victorious Ones, for example, the sun's light cannot be taken away by all the constellations and the light of the moon, and it also completely dries up all the moisture in Jambudvipa. O sons of the Victorious Ones, likewise, the roots of virtue of that Bodhisattva who abides in this Far-Going Ground cannot be taken away by all the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, and it also completely dries up the defilements of all sentient beings, so it is said. The remainder should be connected as before. The explanation of the seventh ground from the Noble Ten Grounds Sutra is completed. Eleventh fascicle, the eighth ground is the collection of grounds that have been completely purified, the attainment of pure patience, the attainment of the distinction of abiding, the purification of the Buddha-field, the attainment of power and the distinction of greatness, the detailed division of definitive words, and it should be understood that it is established in seven ways. Among these, the collection of grounds to be completely purified is the collection of the seven grounds from the general and individual aspects.

One should strive, which is understood here as the blessing of the Tathagata. Because it is said in the sutra, "The blessing of the Tathagata is extremely excellent." On the third ground, because one obtains irreversible samadhi and so on from detachment from desire, one subsequently obtains the power to increase one's own roots of virtue. Because it is said in the sutra, "One subsequently obtains the power to increase one's own roots of virtue." The fourth ground is that, by teaching the Dharma of distinctions, one possesses the nature of contemplating the Buddha's Dharma with the distinction of completely purifying the obscurations of knowledge. Because it is said here in the sutra, "One possesses the power of the Tathagata, fearlessness, and the contemplation of the unmixed Buddha's Dharma." On the fifth ground, it should be understood that for the completely pure, the mind's thoughts, equanimity, and pure thoughts, etc., have been extremely well trained. Because it is said here in the sutra, "The breast of superior thought has been extremely well trained." On the sixth ground, with great compassion as the forerunner, acting with mastery and dependent origination, one is manifestly superior by the power of merit and wisdom, and it is precisely for this reason that it is said here in the sutra, "One is manifestly superior by the power of merit and wisdom." On the seventh ground, by the distinctions of creating other paths, one does not abandon the connection with sentient beings. Because it is said in the sutra, "With great compassion and love, one does not abandon the connection with all sentient beings." By entering into limitless realms of sentient beings and so on, one should understand that one possesses the limitless path of wisdom. Because it is said in the sutra, "One possesses the limitless path of wisdom." Thus, after the complete training of the eighth ground, the summary of the grounds is distinguished and established, and then the distinction and establishment of obtaining pure forbearance is fully shown. By obtaining forbearance of the Dharma of non-arising, one obtains pure forbearance. It should be understood that this purity is spontaneously accomplished. Moreover, this forbearance should also be understood as four kinds of non-arising. The four kinds of non-arising are: non-arising of existence, non-arising of nature, non-arising of numerical distinctions, and the distinctions of karma.

Is unborn. Among them, the unborn of existence is seven kinds of unborn. Regarding the pure aspect of the seven kinds of existence, as a dharma, as an antidote to what has existed from before, all dharmas enter into the very state of not arising from the beginning, so it is said. The antidote to newly arising is the very state of not arising, so it is said. The antidote to having characteristics is the very state of having no characteristics, so it is said. The antidote to having a later limit is the very state of not arising, so it is said. Regarding the aspect of all afflictions, existing at the previous limit, its antidote is the very state of non-destruction, so it is said. Sentient beings completely exist, its antidote is the very state of having no limit, so it is said. Regarding the pure aspect, the very nature of all afflictions exists, its antidote is the very state of non-entry, so it is said. Naturally unborn is the selflessness of dharma. There, it is the nature of selflessness, because it is the nature of non-entity, so it is said. This forbearance is aimed at that, not aimed at non-entity, because selflessness is the nature of non-duality. The unborn of numerical difference is because all afflictions and pure dharmas do not decrease or increase in the three times, because the beginning, middle, and end are equal, so it is said. The unborn of karmic difference is that the wisdom of the Buddha is not different, just like the purity of Suchness, because like Suchness, the wisdom of the All-Knowing is non-conceptual, entering from the very beginning of realization, so it is said. Thus, having shown the object of forbearance of the unborn dharma, it shows entering from the separation from the nature of conceptualization, which is gathered by the ripening, arrogance, and object-consciousness, because all of that is separated from the conceptualization of mind, intellect, and consciousness, so it is said. Saying "thought" is to prevent the thought of the unfavorable side, the antidote thought exists there. That is superior to the lower ground in three ways, superior by spontaneous accomplishment, which is what
