The afflictions of conduct will not arise at all. O sons of the Victorious Ones, similarly, on the ground of a bodhisattva abiding on the immovable ground of a bodhisattva, the arising of mind, intellect, and consciousness will also not arise at all. That is, whether it arises in the Buddha, or arises in enlightenment, or arises in the bodhisattva, or arises in the conduct of enlightenment, or arises in the solitary buddha, or arises in the śrāvaka, or arises in nirvāṇa, or arises in the arhat, or arises in the non-returner, or arises in the once-returner, or arises in the stream-enterer, all of those will not arise at all. Then, what need is there to mention those that arise in worldly people? That is what was said. In that, in the aspects of entering and reversing, there is no arising in mind and so forth, and in the Buddhas and so forth, because of the absence of arising. The arising in the Buddhas and so forth is the distinction between the Great Vehicle and the Śrāvakayāna, and in the Great Vehicle also, the distinction between persons and dharmas, and in the Śrāvakayāna also, the distinction between dharmas, learners, and non-learners should be understood as being shown. In that, in the aspects of entering and reversing, there is no arising in mind and so forth, and in the Buddhas and so forth. In that, in the aspect of entering, there is no arising in mind and so forth, because it was said that the arising of mind, intellect, and consciousness will not arise at all. In the aspect of reversing, there is no arising in the Buddhas and so forth, because it was said from the point of "whether it arises in the Buddha" up to "the arising in the stream-enterer will also not arise." The distinction between the Great Vehicle and the Śrāvakayāna, the distinction of the Great Vehicle is those that arise in the Buddha, enlightenment, bodhisattva, and the conduct of the bodhisattva. The distinction of the Śrāvakayāna is the arising in the śrāvaka, nirvāṇa, arhat, and so forth. The distinction of persons in the Great Vehicle is the solitary buddha and the bodhicitta.

carton

Occurs universally in Bodhisattvas. The distinction of Dharma is in enlightenment and, occurs universally in the conduct of Bodhisattvas. The Dharma of the Hearer Vehicle and,the distinction of individuals who are learners and non-learners, the distinction of Dharma occurs universally in passing beyond sorrow. The distinction of non-learners occurs universally in Arhats. The distinction of learners occurs universally in those who do not return, and so forth. O sons of the Conqueror, thus, the Bodhisattva who dwells on this immovable ground of the Bodhisattva, who has developed the power of previous prayers, and who dwells in that continuum of the door of Dharma, the Buddhas, the Bhagavad-Tathagatas, perform the approximation of the Tathagata's wisdom. And to him they also speak thus: "O son of a noble family, well done, well done, for the sake of attaining the Dharma of the Buddha. This is indeed the ultimate patience, but although you do not possess the complete Dharma of the Buddha, such as our ten powers and four fearlessnesses, strive to seek the complete Dharma of the Buddha. And do not abandon this very door of patience." By this approximation of the Tathagata's wisdom, he prevents him from being content with mere joy while dwelling in it. He praises what has been done, encourages what has not been done, and by not abandoning dwelling in it, he enables him to attain the complete Dharma of the Buddha that has not been attained. Furthermore, he prevents those sentient beings who are householders, those who have gone forth, those who are entangled, and those who are afflicted by latent tendencies, by making the act of benefiting sentient beings of great importance. For what reason, O son of a noble family, although you have attained such a peaceful liberation, consider these children, the unpacified common people, the unpacified, those who are afflicted by various afflictions, who are tormented by various kinds of thoughts." Unpacified means the entanglement of afflictions. Unpacified means not abandoning the latent tendencies of that. Those who are afflicted by various afflictions are the side of householders.
