It should not be said that one has completely transcended (this) stage. When one abandons the conduct arising from association, and from the seventh stage to the seventh stage, and then reaches the eighth stage, at that time, riding on the completely pure Bodhisattva vehicle, one wanders among all sentient beings, and also fully understands all the faults of afflictions. It should not be said that one is tainted by them because of complete transcendence. Thus it is said. This stage does not abide in Vipāka (karmic result), and because it possesses the path of manifestation and the intention is not fully perfected, it should not be said to be without afflictions. On the contrary, one should not forget the higher stages, because, O sons of the Victorious Ones, the Bodhisattva who abides in the seventh Bodhisattva stage is especially completely free from all the aggregates of afflictions such as desire. The Bodhisattva who practices in this distant Bodhisattva stage should not be said to be accompanied by afflictions, nor should he be said to be without afflictions. Why is that? It should not be said that afflictions do not manifest, accompanied by afflictions. Because one desires the wisdom of the Tathāgata, and the intention is not fully perfected, it should not be said to be without afflictions. Thus it is said. In this way, after showing the difference between the former and the latter, it is fully shown that the fruit of the dual path of this stage is established in four ways, namely, the complete purification of karma, the attainment of the difference of Samādhi, the complete transcendence from the stage, and the attainment of the difference of abiding. Among them, the complete purification of karma is fully shown in four ways. What is the difference of complete purification of morality? The Bodhisattva who abides in this seventh Bodhisattva stage possesses the body karma of complete purification of superior intention, possesses the speech karma of complete purification of superior intention, and possesses the mind karma of complete purification of superior intention. All those unwholesome paths of action that the Tathāgata has condemned, one has completely transcended all of them. All the wholesome paths of action that the Tathāgata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha has declared, one always practices.

It is said that it is for constant compliance. The distinction of pure worldly wisdom is that, because the worldly crafts and activities accomplished by the bodhisattva on the fifth bhumi are all naturally accomplished here. Except for the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, and bodhisattvas who reside on the eighth bhumi and above, he is known as a teacher in the three thousand great thousand worlds. It is said that it is to obtain the distinction of a body that is incomparable in thought and action. Because no one is the same as him in thought or action. It is said that it is to obtain the distinction of ability by the distinction of directly realizing samadhi and so on. Because the dhyanas, samadhis, samapattis, abhijñas, and vimokshas, all of these manifest in all of him in the manner of the gate of practice. However, by these alone, the complete maturation of the eighth bodhisattva bhumi as it is is not so. Thus, the bodhisattva who abides on this seventh bodhisattva bhumi will have all of his bodhicitta fully endowed with the power of wisdom and skillful means of practice. Therefore, he will even more so obtain all the complete limbs of enlightenment. It is said that it is to make beings completely mature and to abide in the bliss of peace. Samadhi and samapatti are the places for accomplishing abhijña and vimoksha, namely nirodha-samapatti and the order of samapatti. Thus, having fully shown the true transcendence of the four fruits of the united path, the distinction of samadhi is obtained, fully shown by the ten samadhis. That is, non-discrimination and proceeding from the meaning of non-discrimination, because when he abides on this seventh bodhisattva bhumi, the bodhisattva's samadhi distinguishes
