It is well distinguished by holding and being free from faults. Among them, possessing mindfulness and wisdom shows that it can completely hold the antidotes to all pervasive disturbing emotions and the thoughts arising from them. Mindfulness is the antidote to pervasive disturbing emotions, and these are shown by the mention of mindfulness. Similarly, wisdom that focuses on suchness, because of its lack of characteristics, is the antidote to the thoughts arising from it, and this is shown by the mention of wisdom. The remaining dharmas show freedom from faults. Among them, the faults that do not cause the explanation to decline are of three types: jealousy, stinginess, laziness when teaching the Dharma, and lack of arrogance. Among them, jealousy is the inability to tolerate others knowing. Stinginess is the mind's clinging. Among them, because of possessing qualities, possessing qualities such as non-anger, it shows the absence of the first fault. The words "earth proclamation" show the absence of the second fault. The words "pervading lord" show the absence of the third fault. Thus, after praising the speaker with two kinds of pure pervasiveness, the praise of the listeners begins, namely: All these are well determined, Bodhisattva possesses great fame, Why do you proclaim the earth, Do not make various distinctions. This is what it means. "Well determined" refers to the wise, that is, those whose wisdom is pure. This well-determined nature should also be understood as three types: because of making aspirations for great Bodhi, it is well-determined in a vast place; because others believe and understand in this way, it is well-determined in a very famous place; because the speaker himself understands it, it is well-determined in a completely held place. These are the nature of the Bodhisattva, and the nature of possessing great fame, and the nature of proclaiming the earth, shown in order. Although it has been well determined, if it is not sought in meaning, then it cannot become a vessel for teaching the Dharma, therefore: All these sons of the Buddhas, Those who wish to hear, thus it is said. It is said that it is well determined in doctrine, but not well determined in realization, and it is the nature of hidden meaning, that is,

If it is not hidden and not manifest, then the vessel for teaching will not be complete. Therefore, in order to show both of these, it is said "fearless," that is, seeing the Dharma and things not being hidden will become fearless. Therefore, recognizing those complete vessels, please explain the meaning of each place truthfully and separately. This is an exhortation. Thus, after praising the certainty of the retinue being in accordance with the Dharma and the two qualities of pursuing meaning, other qualities are praised. "This retinue is very pure, without laziness, possessing beauty, abiding in the essence of purity, possessing qualities and wisdom." That is its meaning. Among them, "very pure" means pure, without turbidity. If there is nothing, what will become very pure? There are six kinds of turbidity: the turbidity of not pursuing meaning, the turbidity of conduct, the turbidity of obscurations, finding faults, and the turbidity of thought arising from having the idea of being liberated from refutation, and not being happy with the one who teaches, that is, the turbidity of the thought that the roots of virtue are not stable, and the turbidity of ignorance arising from foolishness, etc. It should be known that as an antidote to these, there are six kinds of non-turbidity. Among them, "abiding in the essence" means that this teaching takes practice as its essence. Without laziness, possessing beauty, being pure, abiding in the essence, possessing qualities, and possessing wisdom, these six words completely show these in order. Thus, two verses show the complete purity of one's own lineage, one verse shows the complete purity of other lineages, and then the complete purity of the mutual observation between these two, that is, "all abide with respect, looking at each other." Among them, "with respect" shows that this mutual observation is not afflicted, but is done with respect for the Dharma, not out of jealousy. Like the honey of bees is like nectar, like a desire that should not be abandoned. This shows the excellence of respect itself, that is, observing like this because of not knowing
