It is the place to be manifested. For example, the Mahayana, because the Dharma that is spoken is called Dharma. Moreover, its realm is the realm of the great white Dharma, because it is called Dharma because of its goodness. The extreme certainty as a cause is twofold. The cause is like the sky, because the forms that arise from relying on it are inexhaustible, so the extreme certainty as the cause of achieving the impermanent suffering fruit is because it is said to reach the edge of the sky. Because of focusing on Nirvana, the extreme certainty as the cause of the constant fruit is because it is said to reach the edge of the later. Because of engaging in the benefit of others and becoming great, the extreme certainty is because it is said to be the friend of all sentient beings. The extreme certainty just mentioned, and these two, show that that aspiration is not uniquely and certainly dwelling in samsara and Nirvana. Entering the wisdom ground of all Buddhas, because there is no cowardice, the extreme certainty as no cowardice, that is the ten Bodhisattva grounds, because it is the support for perfectly accomplishing the wisdom of the Buddha. Here, extreme certainty is a limb. The rest is the near limb. Because both are extremely certain, the nature is the same. Because it is a different aspect, the nature is different. Collection is summary, because it shows the nature of the limb. Vastness is distinction, because it shows the aspect of the near limb, just like the world's realm is destroyed and formed. Why are the ten Bodhisattva grounds established? Because it is the antidote to the incompatible aspects of the ten grounds. What are those incompatible aspects? They are the state of being an ordinary person, and the evil deeds to sentient beings with the body, etc., and the state of darkness because of forgetting the Dharma of hearing, thinking, and meditating, and the co-emergent subtle afflictions universally arising, which are included by the view of the perishable collection, etc.

Because it is a subtle form, because it is focused on one's own attention, and because it has been arising universally for a long time, it is subtle and should be known. By the Lesser Vehicle, one completely passes beyond suffering, coarse signs universally arise, subtle signs universally arise, one manifestly engages in the signless, there is no manifest engagement in doing the deeds of sentient beings, and one has not obtained mastery over the dharmas. Why are the ten bhumis established as the 'Joyful' and so forth? Because one initially obtains the supreme and unsurpassed state of perfect benefit for oneself and others, and because of the great joy, it is the 'Extremely Joyful.' Because it completely eliminates the lax discipline and the discipline that purifies all defilements of afflictions, it is the 'Immaculate.' Because the dharmas such as hearing become apparent, it is the 'Illuminating,' so that one does not forget it. Because it possesses the wisdom that burns the wood of afflictions, it is the 'Flaming.' Because one is skilled in all supramundane dharmas and is extremely difficult to subdue, it is the 'Extremely Difficult to Conquer.' One manifests dwelling in the Perfection of Wisdom, and because one manifests greatly with obstacles, it is the 'Manifest.' Because one goes to the end of practicing dwelling in the signless, and because one transcends the inferior paths of the mundane and supramundane, it is the 'Far Gone.' It is solely ripening, and because signs do not arise from its own nature, it is the 'Immovable.' One teaches the Dharma with the power of individual correct knowledge, and because one possesses benefiting others, it is the 'Good Intelligence.' Because one has become a great position of power over the Dharma, it is the 'Cloud of Dharma,' just as a prince is enthroned as regent and obtains mastery over his own kingdom, one is enthroned as the lord of Dharma. Even when dwelling in this, the habit of the obscuration of knowledge remains, and the lack of independence is an unfavorable condition. To counteract this, the Tathagata-bhumis are established. From that, these, because they possess obscurations, the state of the ten bhumis of the Bodhisattvas should be understood as being like the state of being in the womb. Knowledge
