The antidote to the pride of accomplishment in understanding the Dharma, which arises from attachment to words, and the pride of accomplishment in different lineages regarding purity, is shown in this place. And for this place, the antidote to the afflictions arising from attachment to the Dharma, and the pride of accomplishment in different lineages regarding purity, are the ten kinds of Dharma equality. Because, O sons of the Victorious Ones, the Bodhisattva who has perfected the path on the fifth Bodhisattva ground enters the sixth Bodhisattva ground through these ten kinds of Dharma equality. What are the ten? Like this, it is said, "All dharmas are equal because they are without characteristics." Among them, the equality of the absence of inherent existence of all the conceptualizations of the twelve sources is the equality of all dharmas being without characteristics. Moreover, to counteract different characteristics, it is divided into nine aspects: Among the nine aspects of the characteristics of the twelve sources, the characteristic of self-nature is because it is said, "All dharmas are equal because they are without self-nature." The characteristic of arising and ceasing in a moment is because it is said, "All dharmas are equal because they are without arising." The characteristic of one birth after another is because it is said, "All dharmas are equal because they are without birth." The characteristic of affliction is because it is said, "All dharmas are equal because they are peaceful." The characteristic of purification is because it is said, "All dharmas are equal because they are primordially pure." The characteristic of terminology is because it is said, "All dharmas are equal because they are without elaboration." The characteristic of birth and death is because it is said, "All dharmas are equal because they are without acceptance or rejection." The characteristic of attachment to individuals is because it is said, "All dharmas are equal because they are like illusions, dreams, mirages, gandharva cities, reflections of the moon in water, images, and emanations." The characteristic of flourishing and declining is because it is said, "All dharmas are equal because they are neither existent nor non-existent." When one thoroughly understands the nature of all dharmas in this way, one purifies with sharp and compliant patience, compliant

Therefore, not contradicting, thereby attaining the manifestation of the sixth Bodhisattva ground, and only that, not consequently obtaining the gate of tolerance of non-arising dharma. The so-called "sharpness" is the antidote to subtle arrogance, the first two grounds are the antidote to coarse arrogance, with small and medium forbearance as antidotes to medium arrogance, and great forbearance as the antidote to superior arrogance. The so-called "following" is, with the words "not obtained," in accordance with the gate of tolerance of non-arising dharma, therefore it can be known that this is the tolerance of non-arising dharma. The so-called "purification" is to remove the defilements of its incompatible aspects. The so-called "following practice" is to believe in equality. The so-called "non-contradiction" is not to discriminate against it. The above is a temporary display of the antidote to the difference of arrogance. The so-called "when he thus understands the nature of all dharmas" is the excellent point, from here onwards, by observing all sentient beings, the differences of compassion arising in the past, future, and present are completely grasped, because of observing sentient beings, and separately knowing all the subtle aspects of dependent origination, therefore, with pure wisdom, the knowable is known, not abiding in samsara and nirvana, completely showing the excellence of practicing the non-abiding path. Because, therefore, even more so, great compassion is the guide, able to freely use great compassion, in order to perfect great compassion, observing the arising and destruction of the world. When he observes the arising and destruction of the world, he thinks like this: all the arising that is established in the world arises from the clinging to self, if one is separated from the clinging to self, then arising will also disappear, so it is said. Among them, the so-called "arising that is established in the world" refers to the arising of the five realms, which are called the world. The principle of dependent origination is also the establishment and the answer to the refutation.
