One should observe the beings who have become "ra". Beings who seek desire are of two types: the stage of complete enjoyment and the stage of seeking everywhere. Complete enjoyment is also of three types: uncommon complete enjoyment, complete enjoyment without knowing satisfaction, and complete enjoyment of stopping, etc. Seeking everywhere is also of two types: seeking this life by engaging in misdeeds, and seeking future lives by engaging in good deeds. Seeking existence is also of two types, differentiated by realms and elements. Seeking pure conduct is also of two types: the wrong paths of other non-Buddhists and the lesser vehicle of these Buddhists are not the true right path, and one should establish the antidote that is in accordance with those beings who abide therein. Among them, wrong views are the four inversions, two of which are definitely born from thought, therefore they are distinguished by non-degradation of intelligence. The two that perceive self and purity also arise without definite thought, therefore they are distinguished by unequal thought, and their cause is the dense movement of stray paths. The stray path is affliction, and the dense is the latent tendencies of affliction. Because one thinks thus: Alas! These beings who have fallen into wrong views, whose intelligence is unequal, whose minds are unequal, are moving densely on stray paths! Thus it is said. The antidotes corresponding to them are the excellent Dharma, proper attention, and transcendent right view. Because one should establish them on the path that I have not mistaken, the true path, and in suchness as it is! Thus it is said. Starting from uncommon complete enjoyment, the discord of those who are mutually incompatible is distinguished by the mind of enmity and the words of strife. Thus, those who are incompatible are inflamed by manifestly creating harm, because alas! These beings hold onto the incompatibility of discord, engage in disputes, and are constantly and continuously inflamed by anger and resentment.

That is what was said. The act of making an enemy is done by the mind, and it is shown to be done by the word "holding disagreement." Fighting is shown by the word "engaging in argument." Manifesting the act of harming is shown by the words anger and holding grudges. The antidote corresponding to these is to cultivate great loving-kindness, because I should abide in cultivating supreme great loving-kindness for these, that is what was said. Starting from enjoying without knowing satisfaction, never being satisfied is greed, with the mind, stealing, cheating in measurement, lying, and so on, are actions that are distinguished by both body and speech, because alas! These sentient beings, never satisfied, with a strong desire for the wealth of others, follow after a base way of life, that is what was said. The antidote corresponding to these is to live by the complete purification of the limits of body, speech, and mind, because I should abide in living by the complete purification of the limits of body, speech, and mind for these, that is what was said. Placing the word "etc.", starting from enjoying, at the time of "etc.", being attached to it, hating its enemy, considering it to have merit, therefore, desire and so on are the basis of faults, at the time of enjoying, from the many doors of afflictions on the object, the fault of constantly tormenting without interruption, and the fault of not seeing its faults, the fault of definitely not seeking liberation, because alas! These sentient beings have the basis of desire, hatred, and ignorance, the flames of various afflictions are always constantly burning, even so, they do not seek a way to escape from it, that is what was said. The antidote corresponding to these is to abide in the complete pacification of all afflictions, because I should abide in the complete pacification of all afflictions, the non-harming nirvana, for these, that is what was said. For the faults of constantly seeking in this life, the faults of those who engage in enjoyment are, seeing evil as happiness,
