For what reason? Because the Buddhas' teachings are inconceivable. For what reason is it superior due to the distinction of wisdom being non-different and profound? Because it is said to manifestly accomplish the boundless and limitless realm of the Thus-Gone One. For what reason is it superior due to the distinction of knowing all aspects? Because it is said to enter into the Thus-Gone One's realm of activity, which is endowed with immeasurability. For what reason is it superior due to the distinction of being separated, because of being completely and permanently separated from all faults, including latent predispositions? Because it is said to be faith in the complete accomplishment of the result. Moreover, in brief, entering into the conduct of the previous extreme is the definite teaching from all the conduct of the Bodhisattva up to the ground of the Thus-Gone One, and it is indicated by the statement, "It is manifest faith in holding." Therein, definite teaching is the teaching. Holding should be understood as realization. For these three reasons, it should be understood that great compassion arises for sentient beings, namely, because they do not possess ultimate happiness, they possess suffering, and because of the opposite of that. What is it like to not possess ultimate happiness? Because he thinks, "These Buddha-dharmas are so profound, so solitary, so peaceful, so empty, so signless, so wishless, so stainless, so immeasurable, so vast, and these Buddha-dharmas are so difficult to accomplish!" What is it like to possess suffering? However, these ordinary beings, with minds that fall into evil views, and minds completely covered by the darkness of ignorance, and those who are extremely attached to the banner of pride, and those who manifestly desire with the net of craving, and the thoughts of minds that follow the density of deceit and deception, and those who act in accordance with envy and stinginess, creating places of birth, and actions such as those familiar with desire, hatred, and delusion, and those who abandon due to anger and resentment, with flames blazing in their hearts, and those who act in accordance with perversion

Therefore, whatever is accomplished through actions, and the consciousness and mind associated with desire and existence, and the defilements of ignorance, and the seeds of consciousness, all of these, in the three realms, accompanied by name and form, neither arising nor ceasing, also cause the sprout of existence to manifest. Name and form increase, leading to the emergence of the city of the six sense sources. When the six sense sources arise, they touch and meet each other, thereby causing feeling to arise. For that feeling itself, craving and grasping, which are manifestly delightful, increase more and more. Grasping increases, leading to the arising of existence. After arising, there will be birth, aging, death, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, displeasure, and agitation. Thus, the aggregates of suffering of those sentient beings, without self and not belonging to self, empty, hollow, emptiness, without wavering, without a maker, like a puppet, like grass, wood, walls, and eye sockets, manifest, as it is said, therefore it is connected with suffering. How would it be if it were reversed from that? Because, as it is said, they understand this. Therefore, the Buddha's Dharma should be understood as nine kinds of profoundness: solitude is profound, peace is profound, emptiness is profound, signlessness is profound, wishlessness is profound, undefiledness is profound, immeasurability is profound, vastness is profound, and difficult to realize is profound. Among them, solitude is about the meaning of imputation and the meaning of being imputed. Peace is about the Dharma nature of meaning. Emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness are aimed at the three doors of liberation, and are the antidotes to the three kinds of incompatible aspects. The three incompatible aspects are conceptual thought, having signs, and longing for separation. Undefiledness is because of the goal of abandoning defiled dharmas. Immeasurability is because of the goal of generating countless and inconceivable roots of virtue. Vastness is because of the goal of wisdom that understands the actions of benefiting oneself and others.
