Where to go, to go to the end of the earth, to obtain the instructions completely there, and to apply them to the benefit of sentient beings in the fruition, and to distinguish them by the practice of entering the land of the Tathagatas. Here, remembering the Buddha is also known as a branch and a near branch in practice. After that, when this happens, by mastering the object of attainment, he is very happy, because he says, "I have returned from the realm of all ordinary beings." He extensively proclaimed this, because he has returned from the enjoyment of ordinary beings. And this return is in nine ways. Returning through entering is for what reason? He said, "I have entered into closeness with the Buddha." Returning through distant things is for what reason? He said, "I have become distant from the state of childish ordinary beings." Returning through close things is for what reason? He said, "I have become close to wisdom." Returning through cessation is for what reason? He said, "I have ceased all evil destinies, evil paths, and falls." Returning through the teacher is for what reason? He said, "I have become the teacher of all sentient beings." Returning through seeing and being close is for what reason? He said, "I have become close to seeing the Tathagata." Returning through arising is for what reason? He said, "I have also arisen in the realm of the Buddha." Returning through equality is for what reason? He said, "I have become endowed with the equality of all Bodhisattvas." Returning through separation is for what reason? He said, "I am separated from fear and anxiety." Among them, returning through entering is distinguished by different enjoyments. Two, namely returning through distant things and returning through close things, are distinguished by different bodies. The remaining six, namely returning through cessation, returning through the teacher, returning through seeing and being close, returning through arising, returning through equality, and returning through separation, are through different practices and one.
