Having obtained hundreds of thousands of such samādhis of the bodhisattva of the ground, therefore, that bodhisattva's body or the karma of the body, having obtained the position of a bodhisattva prince, is not easily known even by those who abide in the bodhisattva ground with good intelligence. Speech or the karma of speech is also not easily known. Mind or the karma of mind is also not easily known. Miraculous power is also not easily known. Looking at the three times is also not easily known. Entering the realm of samādhi is also not easily known. The realm of wisdom is also not easily known. Playing with liberation is also not easily known. The karma of manifestation, or the karma of blessing, or the karma of power is also, from being not easily known, in short, even up to the karma of placing and lifting the feet, it is also not easily known by those who have obtained the position of a bodhisattva prince and abide in the bodhisattva ground with good intelligence, thus it is said. What is the reason for the vastness of numbers? O sons of the Victorious Ones, this cloud of dharma of the bodhisattva ground, even if shown in brief, is thus immeasurable; in vastness, even if shown by countless hundreds of thousands of kalpas, it should be known that it will not be exhausted, thus it is said. Now, in order to truly show the vastness of numbers, and to show that it is not possible to show all the Tathagata grounds, therefore, the bodhisattva Liberation Moon said: O sons of the Victorious Ones, even this blessing of the realm of activity of the bodhisattvas is thus immeasurable, then what are the realm of activity and entering the realm of the Tathagata like? The bodhisattva Vajragarbha said: O sons of the Victorious Ones, it is like this: for example, if someone takes two or three pebbles the size of cypress seeds from the four continents of the world, and then says: How many earth realms are there in the infinite world? How much more superior and immeasurable is it than these pebbles? O sons of the Victorious Ones, likewise, your Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, the wisdom

In the nature of the nonexistent, measuring with the nature of the Bodhisattva, I think of your words as such. Son of the King, just as the earth taken from the world of the four continents is small, and the remainder is vast, so it is. Son of the King, even this single cloud of the Bodhisattva's earth-dharma, even if explained for immeasurable eons, only a small part is shown. What need is there to speak of the Tathagata's earth? Son of the King, you should believe, you should understand. The Tathagata stands as witness before me. Son of the King, if the Buddha-fields of each of the ten directions are like countless dust particles, the Bodhisattvas who have attained such a state are like sugarcane forests, bamboo forests, reed forests, or sesame fields filled to the brim. Yet, even if they manifest the conduct of a Bodhisattva, manifesting it for immeasurable eons, it would not even approach one-hundredth of the Tathagata's realm that arises in a single instant of the Tathagata's wisdom. Not one-thousandth, not one-millionth, not one-hundred millionth, not one-hundred million millionth, not one-hundred million trillionth, not in number, part, calculation, metaphor, or cause, not even up to creation. Son of the King, thus, the Bodhisattva who possesses such wisdom does not abandon the power of the Bodhisattva's Samadhi, which is non-dual with the body, speech, and mind of the Tathagata. They perfectly behold the Buddha, make offerings, and serve. In each eon, they also make offerings to the immeasurable Tathagatas with vast offerings that possess all aspects of perfect accomplishment. Thus, they receive the splendor and light of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Son of the King, for example, the great adornment of the gods, not made by craftsmen.
