of the distinctions, and knowing that it is merely a designation because there is no person, because of distinguishing the bodies of karmic maturation, and also fully knowing the designations. It is said: "Distinguishing the bodies of the Hearers, the bodies of the Solitary Buddhas, and the bodies of the Bodhisattvas, and also fully knowing the designations." Thus it is declared. How do the bodies of the Tathagatas show through manifest complete enlightenment? Whoever has made aspirations for enlightenment and is born in Tushita, whoever is a Buddha's emanation, whoever has blessed the relics of their own body, whoever is a body of maturation, whoever attracts beings with rays of light, whoever is a common liberation of worldly and transworldly minds, whoever is an uncommon cause of eminence, whatever is the uncontaminated realm of the Tathagatas, whatever is the unattached wisdom, whoever performs all of these, is fully known by the distinctions of those. Because the bodies of the Tathagatas also fully know the very body of manifest complete enlightenment. Also fully knowing the body of aspiration, the body of emanation, the body of blessing, the form body, the body adorned with marks and signs, the light body, the mind body, the merit body, the dharma body, and the wisdom body. Thus it is declared. The bodies of knowledge are fully known by the distinctions of knowledge arising from hearing and thinking, the distinctions of knowledge arising from meditation, the distinctions of knowledge of fruit and entry, and the distinctions of worldly and so forth. Because the very profound investigation of the bodies of knowledge is also fully known. Just as it is, definite realization, and fruit, and that which is gathered by application, and the distinction between worldly and transworldly, and the establishment of the three vehicles, and that which is common and uncommon, and definite emergence, and non-definite emergence, and the trainee, and the non-

It is also said that one is completely knowledgeable about the training. The bodies of Dharma are the complete understanding of expressing the single Dharma nature, holding what is heard as it is, having perceptions that are in accordance with the circumstances of the disciples' faculties, establishing explanations, establishing the characteristics of those with and without faculties, and establishing the supreme characteristics. Therefore, one is also completely knowledgeable about the equality of the bodies of Dharma. It is also said that one is completely knowledgeable about non-confusion, circumstances, the establishment of conventional designations, the establishment of sentient and non-sentient dharmas, and the establishment of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. The bodies of space are characterized by infinity, pervasiveness, being unteachable and unobstructed, being unconditioned, and opening the door of form. Because of the manifestation of form and the complete understanding of its own nature, one is also completely knowledgeable about the immeasurability of the bodies of space. It is also said that one is completely knowledgeable about being all-gone, being without body, being without error, and making manifest light with the body of form. Thus, by purifying the Buddha-field, after showing the establishment of the eighth ground, it is shown by obtaining power. By obtaining power, in this way, through the combination of the three powers of the vessel world, the sentient world, and the wisdom of manifest complete enlightenment, one obtains the ten powers. Therefore, by obtaining such a manifestation of body and wisdom, one obtains power over life by blessing life for incalculable kalpas. One obtains power over mind by entering into countless wisdoms with immeasurable samadhi. One obtains power over resources by universally showing blessings that adorn all realms with many ornaments. One obtains power over karma by showing the time as it is with the blessings of the ripening of karma. Being born in all realms

Universally showing, one obtains mastery over birth. Universally showing the Buddha-field and the perfect enlightenment at any time and place as desired, one obtains mastery over aspirations. Universally showing all realms of the world filled with Buddhas, one obtains mastery over faith. Universally showing the various manifestations of magical power in all Buddha-fields, one obtains mastery over magical power. Universally showing the Tathagata's powers and fearlessness, the Buddha's unmixed dharmas, the excellent marks and signs, and perfect enlightenment, one obtains mastery over wisdom. Universally showing the appearance of limitless and boundless dharma doors, one obtains mastery over dharma. Thus it is said. These ten masteries should be understood in order as antidotes to the ten harms. The ten harms are: the harm of death, the harm of all afflictions, the harm of poverty, the harm of misconduct, the harm of evil destinies, the harm of unfulfilled desires, the harm of karmic obscurations that cause a lack of dharma, the harm of striving for universal seeking, the harm of doubt, and the harm of timidity. Having thus obtained mastery, the classification of the grounds is shown, and it is explained through the distinction of greatness itself. Among these, the distinction of greatness itself is threefold: the greatness of wisdom, the greatness of action, and the greatness of the qualities that are the basis of both. Among these, the greatness of wisdom is the very inconceivability of wisdom because it does not abide in samsara or nirvana. Because, it is said that immediately upon obtaining these ten powers of a Bodhisattva, one possesses inconceivable wisdom. That very inconceivability can be understood in three ways: the inconceivability of deeply absorbed meditation, the inconceivability of understanding knowable objects, and the inconceivability of eliminating opposing factors. Because, it is said that one possesses immeasurable wisdom, extremely vast wisdom, and unseizable wisdom. Therefore, having followed such a path and possessing such wisdom, the negative actions of the body are extremely few.
