It is not possible. Because it is the cause of sound, conceptualization is called sound. Because it does not exist, there is no sound. It is the suchness that is self-aware through non-dual wisdom. For the object that is self-aware, there is no conceptualization. Therefore, it is said to be individually self-aware. What is meant by 'without letters' is that letters are apprehended and received by the senses, and they arise from them. 'Without it' means without letters, which is explained by 'without appearance.' The path of words is the imputation of a general form. To whomever it does not exist, it is said that way. What is meant by 'without sound' indicates that it is not the object of conceptualization. This indicates that it is not the object of speech. All of this shows that what is grasped by the power of imputed forms is established, and that form is also absent in the realm of reality. Thus, it temporarily shows that the agent, action, and object are without inherent existence when examined separately. If that is the case, it shows the general non-existence with 'who' and so on. 'Who attains complete enlightenment' refers to the body. 'By what' refers to the mind that will become the agent. 'What is it' refers to enlightenment. If what was said is also understood, it is to contemplate it with the touch of form. Understanding the collection of the agent, action, and object, the very establishment of understanding is the form. These are the causes of complete contemplation at the time of understanding by the agent and so on. When speaking within oneself, they are merely names. When reciting and so on, they are merely designations. In order to make others understand, when indicating, they are merely symbols. When speaking by applying terms to others, they are merely terms. How these are understood now is also merely names, designations, symbols, and terms. Therefore, one should recognize that there is no self-nature of the completely imputed, which is explained by the conclusion that the self-nature of the completely imputed itself does not exist. These four words are also completely distinguished by the words of the sutra such as 'examination.' Its explanation is explained by 'in six ways' and so on. Examination, complete examination.

"Mark" also means the same thing. Its explanation is "unrealistically conceived." The very wisdom that is free from all elaboration is enlightenment. To fully conceive that there is a graspable object apart from that (wisdom) is "unrealistically conceived," because wisdom should also be understood, and apart from (wisdom), there is no nature as an agent. Unborn and non-existent are also the same thing. Its explanation is "accumulation." The one who understands also does not have an agent such as self. Non-substance, non-existent, that is also the same thing. Its explanation is "selflessness is not found." The completely pure non-dual wisdom itself is the one who understands. That itself is what should be understood. On that (wisdom), the knowledge that arises from fabricating differences such as agents is delusion, because that knowledge cannot take the state of non-dual wisdom, so it is without taking. Therefore, it is shown by "extremely transcending worldly wisdom." The explanation of "inexpressible" is "truly transcending the path of letters." The explanation of "without manifest attachment" is "free from grasping at self and grasping at mine." Because grasping at self and grasping at mine are themselves the cause of manifest attachment, they are considered "manifest attachment." Thus, temporarily obstructing the understanding of enlightenment by fabricating agents, actions, and objects, some will slander, therefore, in order to eliminate that (slander), it is said "whatever is like that," etc. The meaning of the sutra is: the non-dual wisdom that is free from fabricating agents and actions, etc., is self-knowing. This is the explanation of "who will realize enlightenment," etc. "Seeing as it is" is a synonym for the self-knowing of non-dual wisdom, which is separate from those conceived things such as agents. That wisdom, which is free from manifest attachment to the grasped and the grasper, is all-knowing because it knows from all aspects by abandoning obscurations. Because it is self-aware by each individual, it is manifest.
