Of its own nature, emptiness is declared to be established. Thus, in that place, all phenomena have already been extensively established as emptiness. If I were to dispel the misconceptions of others with the four great reasons, the treatises would become too numerous. Therefore, I have made it brief here and have not elaborated. Here, we have only briefly mentioned that the tenets of the Great Madhyamaka are like this, but we have not written extensively about the tenets. For those yogis who wish to practice, it is taught in a concise and summarized manner, and it is well explained for the purpose of meditation. That is the meaning. Here, by meditating on the ultimate Bodhicitta, I have not written down the means of practice. One should please the Lama and ask the Lama. Therefore, all phenomena without exception, etc., are as they are in the original text. The statement "not seeing the nature of what" means not seeing any phenomenon, which is seeing the supreme reality, as stated in many Sutras. For the meaning of this, one should consult the "Madhyamaka Dispelling Errors" composed by the teacher Aryadeva. One should also consult "The Blazing Logic," "Entering the Middle Way," and "The Observances of Avalokiteshvara." If all other phenomena are not established at all, then does this own mind exist? It is said: "That wisdom itself is explained by reason." Thus it is said, where is that wisdom of individual discrimination? It does not exist. How does it not exist? It is said: "Explained by reason." That itself, when explained and examined with the four great reasons, does not become established. This meaning is clearly stated by the Bhagavan in the "Noble Sutra on the Two Truths," as it says: "In the ultimate sense, even if one searches and examines the wisdom of all phenomena, it is completely non-existent and cannot be found. That wisdom itself, in the ultimate sense, is completely non-existent and cannot be found, therefore, in the conventional sense, it is called 'one who has wisdom.' That wisdom itself, in the ultimate sense, is completely unborn and non-existent." The Noble Nagarjuna also, with this meaning in mind, said: "The mind is not seen by all the Buddhas, seeing is non-existent, how can one see the nature of that which has no self-nature?" Thus he said. The teacher Aryadeva

From the mouth of [someone], it is also said: Consciousness, from the perspective of ultimate truth, is not acknowledged by the wise, because it is inseparable from one and many, just like a lotus in the sky. This is what is said in the Compendium of Wisdom Essence. From the mouth of the noble Nagarjuna: In order to reverse the clinging to self, the aggregates, elements, etc., are taught. By merely abiding in mind-only, those with great fortune can destroy them. All of these are mind-only, as spoken by the Thus-Gone One, to dispel the fear of children, but in reality, it is not so. Also, from that very text, such a selflessness of phenomena, for those who delight in the Great Vehicle, their own mind is originally unborn, in short, that is it. Thus it is said. Therefore, one should eliminate the conceptions of self, etc., as conceived by outsiders, as well as the aggregates, etc., as conceived by one's own school, and the discriminations of mind and illusion, etc., and constantly abide in such meaning, abandoning discriminations. Therefore, from the mouth of the noble Nagarjuna: Not obscured by the discriminations of self and aggregates, etc., and consciousness, the Bodhicitta of the Buddhas is regarded as the nature of emptiness. Thus it is said. Abandoning such discriminations is the supreme state of Nirvana, so it is said. Having attained accomplishment through the instructions of the noble Nagarjuna, having received the permission of the noble Manjushri, having attained clairvoyance, the meaning of all the tantras, all the sutras, and all the Vinaya scriptures, appearing simultaneously in his mind, having seen the truth, therefore the lama transmitted from one to another is the glorious Bodhibhadra, one should follow him. The meaning of those texts listed earlier is as follows: If one truly analyzes, all appearing phenomena, and all that is conceived by philosophical systems, etc., are considered to be mistaken and false. For example, due to the disease of the eye, one sees a needle dripping water, hair in clumps, two moons, a swarm of bees. There is also the consciousness that clings to it. For example, due to sleep and the power of sleep, habits experience pleasure and pain, and forms, etc. There is also the consciousness that clings to it. Similarly, from beginningless time, due to the eye disease of ignorance.
