That's all. If the various appearances are the only truth, then it itself will become many, and if it is false, it will become empty. Furthermore, if the colors red and white are one, then the feelings of happiness and suffering will also become one. If happiness and suffering, red and white, are different, then it is not one. If you say so, then red and white are not different, but one. If you say that red and white are like being different, so there is no contradiction, then happiness and suffering are also like being different, so there is no contradiction. If you say that happiness and suffering cannot be established like that because they are personally experienced, then red and white cannot be established like that because they are personally experienced. If you say that the experienced red and white are not like that, but like it is unreasonable to infer outside the red and white of the Hearers, if you say so, then the experience is also like happiness and suffering are not like that, but like it is unreasonable to infer outside the happiness and suffering of the Tirthikas. In this way, by way of comparison, the ultimate truth of appearing as different things is not established. Because that is not established, the many are also not established. Furthermore, are one and many contradictory or non-contradictory to things? That what's the use? If they are contradictory, then the property of the subject is not established, and if they are not contradictory, then the pervasion is not established, because things do not pervade both one and many. If you say so, no, things pervade one and many, because one and many are truly contradictory to things. In general, one and many are truly contradictory, so the property of the subject is established. Because things are not established, the inference of one and many is not established. Furthermore, is the pervasion of one and many on things established or not established by valid cognition? What's the use of that? If it is established, things will become true, and if it is not established, the pervasion will not be established. Relying on appearance, there is also no fault that the general thing merely pervades one and many merely established, and the true one and many true pervading things are established by valid cognition, so it will not become truly established by valid cognition either. So, in general, the pervasion of one is established, but the property of the subject does not exist, and in particular, the property of the subject separated from the true one and many is established, but the pervasion is not established? No. In general, whatever exists wherever, then its one and many pervading it is established, and through reasoning, only one and many in general are not observed, so the pervasion is established, and the property of the subject is established. Knowledge is like the number of aspects, just like appearing as many aspects.

Therefore, consciousness also arises in the same way, because consciousness itself is consciousness. For example, like the consciousness that takes a water bubble as its object. But this is not reasonable, either it appears as one, or it arises without a cause. This is also not acceptable, because only one thing will appear, because it constantly exists in an instant, and other things will not appear. If other appearances disappear, it is because their continuum is interrupted. In this way, only one thing will appear. If as many aspects as there are arise at one time, then the individual's continuum will also become different, which is not reasonable. Aspects and consciousness can compete with each other, mind and aspect together as the object. Because consciousness without aspect does not arise, and aspect without consciousness does not appear, they are the same. It appears like the apprehended and the apprehender. This is also not acceptable, because matter and awareness are separate. Awareness does not depend on matter, and matter does not depend on awareness to appear, and there is no connection, and it will also lead to having the apprehended and the apprehender. If the aspect itself is the nature of consciousness, then matter will also be combined with awareness. If consciousness itself appears, then being an object together will also disappear, and it cannot compete, because they are completely the same nature. In this way, after explaining the aspect, in order to explain that the aspect is false, the aspect does not exist, because cause and effect are not established in meaning. Experience is established by direct perception, established by valid cognition and without other harm, this is true. The aspect is examined on colored things, and if analyzed by similarity, it cannot be established, and there is no reason for establishment for cause and effect. This is not reasonable, because the aspect is experienced. If cause and effect do not exist in meaning, then experience will also become non-existent. If experience is established by direct perception, so it is not non-existent, then cause and effect are also established by direct perception, so it will become existent. If it is unreasonable for cause and effect to arise in the three times, so it does not exist, then it is also reasonable that there is no experience in the three times. If experience does not become non-existent because there are no three times, because the pervasion is not established, then if there is no arising because the three times are not established, this statement is also that the pervasion is not established. The definition of arising is said to be dependent on the former.
