Furthermore, even if you speculate that it arises from both self and other, I have already refuted both of these earlier, so please drop it! Also, if you say it arises from a single cause, it is not the case that a single cause produces a single effect, because it is evident that effects depend on many causes and conditions. If you say that many arise from one, that is also unreasonable, because cause and effect are subsequently inconsistent. How so? When one cause produces many effects, in relation to the cause, the effects are many, and in relation to the effects, the cause is few. Moreover, if a single cause cannot even produce a single effect, what need is there to mention many? If you say it arises from many, that is also incorrect, because the causes are many, but the effect is only one, therefore the cause and the caused are inconsistent. If you say that many effects arise from many causes, that is also incorrect, it is now the same as saying that one effect arises from one cause, as mentioned earlier, and I have already refuted that. In short, arising from the past and the simultaneous, because arising has been refuted, this has also been refuted. No matter how many aggregates of causes, I have fully understood that it is impossible for them to arise. Therefore, the mind that you desire will not arise from any cause whatsoever. Now, let's analyze whether that mind is one or many. It is not one, because you consider the knowledge with various appearances to be the appearances and distinctions of the mind itself. The objects of cognition are not one, because they are many, so the mind must also be many. The self is one, how can one be many? If you think so, then don't criticize those who believe in substances with parts for the fault of believing in real entities. It is also not many, because if they were many substances, then it has already been refuted in the context of analyzing atoms. If they were many moments, then I have already refuted the moment itself well. There is no time other than these. Therefore, I have refuted the mind that you desire as being either one or many. If you believe that there is knowledge without appearances, merely a mind without appearances, which is wisdom, different from matter, unanalyzable, and inexpressible, then analyze it. Is this knowledge a lamp

So, does it exist in a tangible form? Or does it exist in an intangible and un-demonstrable way? If according to the first way, please show it to us others as you yourself have seen it. If you have directly realized it, then let us also directly realize it. Otherwise, how can we believe it with just words? If it can be established with just words, then the self that others accept can also be established. Furthermore, the refutations you make against the supreme cause of the Brahmins will also apply to you. In that case, are you the same as or different from the supreme cause of the Brahmins? If according to the second way, how do you know something that is inexpressible and un-demonstrable? If you say that it is shown by the lamas, then how can the lamas express to you what you yourself consider inexpressible? Furthermore, if there is self-awareness, then there will be three things: the object of awareness, the subject of awareness, and the awareness itself. Since you do not accept the object of awareness and the subject of awareness, then please do not accept the awareness itself either. If similarity leads to sameness, then one will accept the other; and if one accepts the other, then one will believe that there is a self-awareness that is inexpressible, un-speculatable, and un-demonstrable. Open your eyes wide and see what difference there is between this and the self that others accept. If you think it is the same as the self, then you will only be repeating the same points mentioned above. Also, examine whether there is a continuously arising wisdom. Have you heard of a future that does not exist in the past and present? If even the constantly changing consciousness itself does not exist, then how can the constantly changing wisdom exist? If, like those who believe in knowledge with aspects, you believe that there is wisdom with a completely pure object, then even if you abandon all faults, if you have already become attached to signs, then the fault is real, just like a completely unclear cataract. Please refute this statement well. If, according to the view of those who say that knowledge is without aspects, you believe that there is a purely self-aware wisdom that is free from all habitual tendencies, then you cannot escape the faults mentioned above. So, what is the use of such wisdom? What is lost without it? Therefore, please completely abandon these meaningless speculations! These are the views of those who believe only in consciousness.
