Because it is the name of those who possess the Tathāgatagarbha nature. Impure and pure, that is, from the Joyful Ground and so on, the ten Bodhisattva grounds, there are various forms of afflictions such as the most extreme. The extremely pure is the Buddha ground. Or the Bodhisattva grounds are of two types, that is, the seven grounds are impure because they are accompanied by effortful mental activity. The Immovable Ground and so on are the impure grounds. The extremely and supremely pure is the Tathāgata ground. In the Mahāyāna Uttaratantraśāstra, four types are spoken of from the perspective of the realizers, that is, the Joyful Ground is the Bodhisattva who first generates the mind of enlightenment. The six grounds, such as the Immaculate Ground, are those who have entered into practice, because they practice without clinging to practice. The Immovable Ground is non-retrogression. The Cloud of Dharma Ground is one lifetime away, because the Buddha ground is the last lifetime away. In the Ārya-Vimokṣasena it is said that on the Ground of Adhimukticaryā, one first enters the vehicle. The seventh ground, the Joyful Ground and so on, is entering into practice. The three grounds, the Immovable Ground and so on, are non-retrogressive. The tenth ground is the Bodhisattva who is one lifetime away. In the Sūtrālaṃkāra it is said that the generation of the mind of enlightenment of the Bodhisattvas is of four types, that is, on the Ground of Adhimukticaryā, it arises from faith. The seventh ground arises from the purification of superior intention. The eighth and so on arise from maturation. The Buddha ground is without obscuration. In the Ārya-Laṅkāvatāra-sūtra it says, the seven grounds and so on are. The absence of appearance is also this eighth ground. The two grounds abide here. The remaining ground is my essence. Thus it is said. Master Vasubandhu also explained five types in the commentary on the treatise. That is, the first ground, the Joyful Ground, is the purification of superior intention. The six grounds are abiding in the absence of characteristics with effort. The eighth is abiding in the absence of characteristics without effort. The two grounds are greatly entering into definite conduct. Above that is the Bodhisattva who is one lifetime away. These and so on are incomparable.

All supreme self-nature bodies, the various manifest desires of the Bodhisattvas, are established from the inclinations of the beings to be tamed, although there is no limit. However, from the perspective of the inclinations of the beings to be tamed, they are not contradictory. One should strive to seek them diligently. If all existence and non-existence are well established, then it can be established. Now, let us speak of what is relevant. Thus, immediately after the uninterrupted path, the nature of the liberation path, in the realm of neither perception nor non-perception, the smallest of the small, the seventy-two aspects of the unfavorable side, the greatest of the great antidotes, the seventy-two aspects. Having abandoned all defilements and obscurations of knowledge, it is the nature of extreme purity. The twenty-first and twenty-second mind generations are the nature of equipoise and subsequent attainment. Named Samantabhadra, all other excellent names are luminous. The omniscient wisdom of the Buddha and the eighth realization of the Dharmakaya in the state of fruition. Dharma is the path, the nature of the seven realizations. Knowing that what is obtained by Dharma is the Dharmakaya. From these realizations, the Bhagavan abides in the state of fruition, the non-learner, because it is the nature of the equality of samsara and nirvana. That Dharmakaya has four aspects: the Svabhavikakaya, the Sambhogakaya, the Nirmanakaya, and the activity. The body of the Buddhas is three, as spoken by the great Bhagavati Mother. All aspects are completely pure, whatever is the nature of the uncontaminated dharmas, that is the Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha, it should be known as the Dharmakaya. Furthermore, by realizing those dharmas, one attains the unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment. The Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha, the body adorned with the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks. For the sake of enjoying unsurpassed joy, supreme joy, and bliss, and becoming supreme, teaching the Dharma of the Mahayana, is the Sambhogakaya. Furthermore, those dharmas
