Therefore, through what means is it known? It is the very nature of being devoid of duality. If it is established, then here too, it does not contradict the accepted view, therefore it is establishing what is already established. In the ultimate truth, for the subject that is the self-nature of the unborn consciousness, the very nature of being devoid of duality, if asserted, then which one is the true one? If the nature of non-duality is understood, and also understood in the nature of things, if one wants to establish both consciousnesses, then in this way, the concomitance cannot be established here. The example is empty of what is to be proven, because it is expressed as being completely conceptualized. The very nature of a true object, the warm touch is not established. In the nature of external objects, if one asserts warm touch, then hasn't one made such an examination? Saying that it is not established in either of the two. If the two touches of cold and warmth are asserted to be the nature of the appearance of consciousness, then because it appears in one consciousness as well, there is no contradiction in reality. This example, which is empty of what is to be proven, is manifest by that. If one uses as an example the unexamined nature, then the assertion is not established. However, if one thinks that by the meaning of the nature of the two being established as separate, the very nature of consciousness is also completely established, then because the connection is not completely established, that is unreasonable, because the thing, for being devoid of duality, is not pervasive anywhere. Wherever there is no duality, there things exist, in order to establish a connection here, there is no valid cognition that eliminates dissimilar instances. Like sky flowers and so on, it becomes uncertain by the very duality. Because it results in being without abiding, for the two, there are no other two. The natures of two and non-two, if there is a contradiction, then they will not abide as one, like the two, cold and warmth. However, by the power of ignorance, the two appear as false on that. Therefore, there is no contradiction, because it is established in the very nature of things. If there is no contradiction, if that harms this, for those without contradiction, like warmth to cold, harm is not possible. The natures of true and untrue, how can they not become contradictory? How can it appear as false? If the nature of falsehood appears, then consciousness will also become false. If it is not so, then how can that contradiction become the nature of appearance? Even if it is false, where are the two, in the nature of things that become harmful,

The characteristic of 'di' is not established. Therefore, the reason itself is not established. Only the dual consciousness, because that itself is self-illuminating. Apart from appearing as two, the object of cognition itself does not exist. Because it is devoid of one and many, how is the apprehended emptiness? The knower is also inseparable from it, similarly harming emptiness. Self-emptiness also, how does it appear as various aspects? Thus, there is no contradiction, similarly, consciousness and so on are also contradictory. If there are two kinds of consciousness, because the two parts are unreasonable. The Sautrantikas and others do not consider it to be true. For the non-dual consciousness, the external object is also not contradictory. Therefore, if the non-dual nature is established, then what is established? If other valid cognitions say that the external object is harmful, then, consciousness is also the same, why not consider it to be greatly harmful? Because it is devoid of one and many, the object is of various natures, how is it unreasonable? Similarly, consciousness should also be accepted. Therefore, established by valid cognition, the reality of ultimate truth does not exist. Therefore, those with conceptual thoughts should not use the name of existence here. Because there is harm, there is doubt everywhere about this. To say that there is no reality, it is also unreasonable without valid cognition. Thus, all realities are empty, not realized by direct perception. Because it arises from its power, that meaning is in the reality itself. Furthermore, if one clings to the side and so on that is empty by another, then, being empty by another from that, is realized by direct perception. If any reality is analyzed, all realities are empty, it will become realized by direct perception. For saying that there is no reality, everything is included in it. Because the reality of all phenomena, there is nothing that is empty. If it is not like that, the vow will be broken. If everything has no reality, then, the proponent, the example of the subject, and the reason and so on, because they are not established, cannot be understood through inference. Furthermore, the two reasons of nature and result cannot establish it. Those two establish reality itself, contradicting the absence of reality. If it is a dharma of unborn nature, then what will be its reason? Result
