Therefore, the word "therefore" is used to indicate the meaning of validity (pramāṇa). The word "similar habit" is an example. The word "precisely because" is because things, etc., are conceptualizations, and this is showing the reason. The word "first" is to show the subject of the dharma to be established. The word "from its own kind" is to show the dharma to be established. Like this, etc., is to explain, like "this is not produced by the power of things," etc., the explanation is "those are also not produced by the power of objects," etc. The explanation of "not sudden," etc., is "is there no cause of birth," etc. Those who admit that "consciousness is permanent" are the Vaiśeṣikas, etc. Not relying on causes is the view of the non-causalists. Combining the words as "for those who have constantly near causes and nature," this is to show the views of the non-causal eternalists and the conscious eternalists in order. If you want to know how future birth is established, therefore it is said "future existence," etc. The word "therefore" is to show that the cause of other minds is only the mind associated with inverted habits, showing that the future, without lacking causes, also arises accordingly. Like this, it shows validity. This only shows the meaning, but the syllogism should be done like this: whatever mind is associated with the attachment to self and what belongs to self, inverted habits, can be connected by other minds, for example, the mind that commits adultery, etc., in the previous state. The dying mind that is not separated from desire is also similar to that, therefore it is a nature hetu. It is also not that the reason is not established, because the dying mind with desire, without an antidote, is made the subject. Because other causes are prevented, it is only established that the cause without lacking causes, therefore it is also not an uncertain hetu, if it does not arise like that, then its cause does not

Because it would become annihilation. Because it exists in the conforming aspect, it is also not contradictory, so future births are also established. To show that, precisely because of this, in conventional truth, it is also permanent, and the absence of annihilation is also established. Therefore, it is said, "Therefore, views of permanence and annihilation, etc." All things are destroyed in the previous moment, therefore it is not a view of permanence, because other moments follow one another, which is birth, so it is not a view of annihilation. What is called "that itself depends on things" refers to permanence and annihilation. Just like this, if one clings to the permanent existence of things, this is the view of permanence, because one clings to the destruction of that itself, it is the view of annihilation, therefore these two depend on things. This is only a separate explanation. Birth, destruction, and following, etc., should also be combined to explain that permanence and annihilation are impossible. What is called "what is said here" refers to the previous teachers. What is called "one of the two" refers to the nature of permanence and annihilation. What is called "if it exists" refers to the fact that because it exists in ultimate truth, it contradicts later non-existence. This was said by the venerable face of the noble Nagarjuna. The second verse is by Aryadeva. If one practices the Dharma of non-existence with body, speech, and mind, it will become non-existent. If, like believing in existence in conventional truth, one also acknowledges the things of cause and effect, then the actions of body, etc., are also not contradictory, so how can it be non-existent? This verse from the Ratnavali is to explain this. Some say that if one promises that there is no afterlife, etc., this is a proposition. That is not the case for those who acknowledge everything in name. If someone says that they do not acknowledge it because they are afraid of worldly blame, then at that time, the actions of the nature of bodily misconduct are also absent for practices such as celibacy. If one does not do so for fear of losing gain and respect, then if there is mind, then how many such minds are also absent. Why? Because it relies on Bodhi, that is, the
