The term "Tog" (Tibetan: ཏོག་) refers to the act of slandering all dharmas, as its own nature is also non-existent, thus resembling a flower in the sky, which is its definition. The term "therefore" indicates that there is no other cause for clinging to meaningless things, etc., except for habituation, therefore, one can infer the beginningless homogeneous seeds. The so-called "homogeneous seeds have a beginningless continuum" refers to those that have a beginningless continuum of homogeneous seeds. Those that possess homogeneous seeds with a beginningless continuum of existence can be referred to as such. Its object is itself. Therefore, the conceptualizations of things, etc., as phenomena, are merely produced from beginningless homogeneous seeds, and if established, the next life will be established, which is its definition. The argument is: whatever is a conceptualization of things, etc., is produced from homogeneous seeds, just like later understandings. This first arising conceptualization is also a conceptualization of things, etc., therefore, this is a nature-based inference. In order to completely eliminate this uncertainty, it is said that "this is not produced by the power of things." The so-called "power of things" refers to the power of external objects of focus, because the external object is already manifest. Although the internal object, which is the nature of consciousness, has been negated in the ultimate truth, it is self-established because it is self-manifest in the conventional truth. However, the essence of the external object is material, so it is neither self-established nor can it be grasped by consciousness, therefore, it is not produced by others either. Therefore, because it is always unestablished, there is a difference. Alternatively, it is thought that conceptualizations arise only by fabricating on things that have no form, therefore, because there is no object, it is not produced by the power of things. Because it appears gradually, it cannot be a dharma such as suddenness, because it is contradictory for something to arise gradually without dependence.
