It is about the living beings and so on. Regarding the distinction between existence and non-existence, etc., it is mentioned that it is combined with this verse of the noble Deva. This "this" word is combined with the aspect. Therefore, this verse of "in reality" etc. is the teacher's own. This combines the fruit of valid cognition with the meaning of the scriptures, or the meaning of the scriptures with the fruit of valid cognition. Here, one must also rely on the phrase "because of what," therefore the meaning is, because no thing is truly established, all dharmas are unborn. This is what the Buddha, the Bhagavan, said. Furthermore, "also" refers to aging and so on. "Relying on it" refers to relying on birth. "No arising" refers to those things that have no arising, that is how they are called. "Not being of self-nature" means that if analyzed with oneness etc., ultimately what is not of self-nature, that is its synonym. "Without self-nature, how can it become other conditions" means that like rabbit horns etc., because it is always without self-nature, it cannot be other causes and conditions. "Without self-nature, how can it be produced by others" means that other conditions, its fruit is always non-existent, so if it is only like rabbit horns etc., not being of self-nature, how can it be produced? This is its synonym. "This" refers to not being the producer itself ultimately. Or, the word "cause" represents dependent arising. Therefore, dependent arising is the nature of ultimately no birth, this is the synonym taught by the Sugata. "By entering into dependent arising" means by analyzing the nature of ignorance etc., this is its synonym. "Dharmadhatu" refers to the nature of all dharmas, the nature of no birth. "No name" means it is not the object of sound. "No characteristic" means it is separated from the characteristics of birth etc. "No sign" means it is not the object of cognition, blue.

Because there are no characteristics such as "being." The term "unimaginable" means that it is not an object of conceptualization. Then one might wonder, how are those taught? It is said, "It is not other than," connecting to say that it is only to gather sentient beings, using names and so on to teach, it is not other than that. Here also, the word "teaching" arises from the heart. The words "merely names" and so on are all two words each, and the later words are explanations of the earlier words. Conventional truth here is considered to be the nature of the essence that appears in the wisdom of conventional truth. Because this makes it clear to say, it is speech, that is, conceptualization. Or, all of these are synonyms. Or, the first explanation is the remainder. Even if ignorance does not exist in the three times, why is it not an object of imputation? It is said, "That ignorance." Then, one might wonder, since it has been admitted that everything exists only in name, then does merely name truly exist? It is said, "Bhagavan, whatever is merely name." "If that is done" is because ignorance and so on do not exist in the three times. Also, the so-called "also from that sutra" refers to the Sutra of the Meeting of Father and Son. If, because birth and so on are the nature of pervasive imputation, one does not admit the birth and so on of phenomena, then one might wonder, how did the Bhagavan say that non-birth and so on are true with "non-birth is true" and so on? It is said, "Non-birth and so on are also." The so-called "that" refers to ultimate truth. To conceptualize on non-birth and so on, and to establish the nature of phenomena with conceptualization, is non-birth and so on. And the word "etc." includes cessation and peace and so on. Also, without that, can one not ascend to ultimate truth? One might wonder, in order to show such a nature, that is why it is said, "The ladder of true conventionalities." True is the house. Its top is the summit, summarized as going there. True conventionality itself is like a staircase, a ladder, the so-called "support of the footsteps"
