E! "Each letter has no mantra" is a concluding statement. If it is said that "there are no other many letters," then it means that the combined letters are also not mantras, because letters arise sequentially, so there is no collection. If it is thought that the stopped letters will gather, then it is said that "the stopped letters are not," stopping means disappearing from one's own nature. Those that disappear from their own nature are those that are selfless, and if those that have no self-nature, how can those be accumulated? Therefore, it is temporarily admitted that there are mantras. If so, then it becomes indirectly non-existent, therefore, for those who have discriminating thoughts, striving to accomplish mantras is completely meaningless, based on this, it is said that "that is also not non-existent," the production of letters from the action of the throat and so on is also visible, and the production of results such as eliminating toxins from that is also visible, how can it completely become non-existent? This completely avoids the situation where the example of the mantra needs to be proven but is incomplete. In order to completely avoid the example of medicine, it is said "similarly from one's own limbs" and so on. If buttercups and astragalus, etc., are different medicines from one's own limbs, then at that time, because they become the object of the target, they will be designated in another place. If it is not the object of the target, then at that time, the limbs as the cause are meaningless. If it is thought that merely the collection of limbs is medicine, then this is also unreasonable, because their limbs are also merely the nature of the collection, so one's own entity is not established. Those whose own entity is not established, how can the collection be established? In order to also need to prove from the example of illusion, it is said "the illusory elephant also appears" and so on. Like this, is the illusory elephant different from or not different from lumps of clay, etc.? For the time being, it is not different, because from the illusionist and the materials of the illusion, it is not visible in other places, this arises from within. Or, those, that is, from mantras and medicines, who

From what does it become different? Just as from fragments of clay and so on, an illusory elephant cannot be truly pointed out. Thinking that it is neither different nor not different, therefore it is said "neither different nor not different," which is the remainder of reason. "Different" means distinct. "Not different" is a synonym for "not distinct." Precisely because of this, it is not seen by unconfused eyes, so saying "nor is it not different" is a synonym. If one thinks that it is merely non-existent, therefore it is said "that which arises dependently" and so on. "That" refers to the illusory elephant, because it is dependently arisen, one cannot say that it does not exist, and because it cannot be said to be itself or other, one cannot say that it exists, therefore this analogy is established. In order to collect the dharmas of the limbs, it is said "to observe it" and so on. Whatever has the aggregate of form, the state of observing it, that is called "that." "Of the eye" is the fifth case, a synonym for "arising from the eye." Or, this is the sixth case, a synonym for eye-consciousness related to the eye, which should be connected with "coming from existence" which appears below. The habit of karma manifesting fruit is "existence." "Thrown by karma and afflictions," this is because it is entered under the control of determined karma. "Having grasping" means having defilements, and should be connected with "such a nature arising from existence." "Similarly" is like being thrown by karma and afflictions, having near grasping. "All the limbs of existence" are ignorance and so on. Connecting it should be done like this: Whatever arises dependently, those are objects that have transcended the path of terms of truly existing and not existing, like mantras and so on. These consciousnesses and so on are also similar to this, therefore it is the reason of nature. If that is so, then how did the Bhagavan say that all conditioned things are impermanent?

Thinking that things are shown to arise, etc., by earth, etc., like this, words such as "cessation," etc., are mentioned. Because it is explained from what point of view, therefore there is no contradiction, this is the remaining word. The point of view is that it is from that which exists just as it appears, such as arising, etc. From that point of view, in order to enter into selflessness, arising, etc., are explained. That is what is thought. How it is medicine and also non-medicine, with these words, the meaning of what was said before is summarized. The two refer to cause and effect. If all dharmas become devoid of inherent existence, with these words, etc., it will show that it contradicts the basis of combination itself, and contradicts the scriptures. Like this, from the established tenet, for what is seen and heard, and distinguishing differences, and the reason for distinguishing things, if someone says so, this is the speech of the noble ones. Conversely, it is the speech of non-noble ones. If it is said like this, because seeing, etc., has no meaning, it is unreasonable. The flower in the sky refers to the lotus in the sky. Similar to now means the same. This objection is meaningless, with these words, etc., the answer is given. The general meaning of this is that the outsiders think that by means of the reason that transcends appearance, the nature of things exists, it is only to prevent this, but it is not to prevent the appearance of blue, etc., which has not been observed, and the pleasantness, etc. From the ultimate truth, if one observes, no existing thing can be established, therefore one neither admits existence nor admits non-existence. Because non-existence is the characteristic of the opposite of things, if existence cannot be established, then non-existence, which is preceded by existence, cannot be established either. Therefore, for the aspect of the only existence and non-existence, because of the fault of existence, we do not need it. This is the final word. Feeling refers to feeling blue, etc. If so, then what is thought to be prevented? It is said that the result truly exists and does not exist, etc. Those who say that the result exists are the Samkhyas. Those who say that the result does not exist are the Vaisheshikas, etc. Saying both
