If what is to be proven is not established, then the reason, which is the nature indistinguishable from what is to be proven, is also not established. If the reason is established, then at that time the selflessness of all things is also established. Because for things like rabbit horns that are devoid of one and many, no nature of things is admitted, if there is such doubt, then it is said "For this reason is" and so on. For the time being, how the reason is established, like that has already been extensively argued. Even if the reason is established, it establishes selflessness with the nature of "this is", however, in order to thoroughly prove that all things are designated as selflessness to the ignorant, the reason is not just one aspect of the promised meaning. For example, like a cow with dewlaps and so on, for example, like becoming an object of focus, because it is invisible, it does not exist, so it should not be blamed. Any samsara that is devoid of beginning is without beginning, not with beginning, this is its definition. The rest is easy to understand. When the one and many themselves that pervade the nature, because of being reversed, like a tree being reversed causes the leaves to fall, if the nature of things is proven to be reversed, how can it become one aspect of the promised meaning? The words of what is pervaded and what pervades being reversed, the two different natures that are completely cut off, are not the category itself. What is not the nature of the category is not one aspect of the promised meaning, for example, like what is made is to be proven as impermanent, even if it is one in ultimate truth, whatever is made is like proving impermanence. In this way, after proving that all dharmas are selfless with reason, in order to also prove with scripture, it is said "All this was also said by the Bhagavan" and so on. Completely pure means showing the cause of manifestation. Like that, this is selfless, this is combined with the actual meaning. The reason is because of the emptiness of the nature of one and many. Tree means Bodhi tree. Should be known.

This is the meaning of "should be known." If the listener thinks that, by the analogy of images, the Blessed One has shown that all phenomena are only the self-nature of what is imputed, and that their self-nature is emptiness, then I should say "self-nature is empty," and so on. If it is said that the self-nature of what is imputed is the entity called the perfectly established self-nature, and the Blessed One has shown me that the self-nature of what is imputed is emptiness, if one thinks like this, then it should also be known that it is emptiness, and it should be connected like this. However, if analyzed with reason, there is no basis. This is the basis here. If everything is only emptiness, then to whom should it be taught? Who is the one who teaches? Why teach? To this, it is said "foolish children with wrong wisdom," and so on. Although in the ultimate truth, sentient beings have no self-nature, the teacher and so on only exist in the conventional truth of what is real and not real. Therefore, in order to dispel ignorance by the power of their blessing, one engages in explanation, this is the meaning of the summary. Among them, their wisdom is inverted, so they are of wrong wisdom, and because their wisdom is not mature, they are also of the wisdom of foolish children, so they are foolish children with wrong wisdom. Or it can be connected in many ways. Wisdom is immature in the suchness of the Dharma, so it is foolish. To teach them is to dispel ignorance and generate wisdom. If everything is only empty by nature, then how does it abide in defilement and purification? To this, it is said "born from the imputation of complete thought," and so on. The thought of doing this and that is imputation. That is discrimination, which is the term "various discriminations." This shows that the defilement of karma is the cause. Non-real discrimination is all afflictions such as ignorance, which is non-real imputation. Being bound by them is because one is led by their power. This shows affliction
