If one thinks, "Why is it not completely correct?" then that is also not correct. Because we say that these objects of cause and effect, even though they are obvious, cannot withstand detailed analysis, therefore we say they are conventional truth. If it were not so, then it would only be ultimate truth, not conventional truth. Therefore, for conventional truth, transcendence and analysis are not appropriate. Thus, having negated the oneness of things, if one also wants to directly negate multiplicity, then one speaks like, "If one analyzes things..." etc. "Even a tiny particle" means even a very small point. If one thinks, "Why is it not valid reasoning?" like this, one speaks of "Multiplicity is the accumulation of oneness..." etc. This means that when analyzing, if the self-nature of the parts of things does not establish as a single self-nature separate from the parts, then how can multiplicity be established? Because multiplicity is the nature of an aggregate, it becomes an unestablished reason. Accumulation is gathering. "Therefore, multiplicity also does not exist" is said by the previous teachers. "From that sutra" means from the *Lankavatara Sutra*. "Self-nature is ungraspable" means the self-nature of oneness and multiplicity, just as analyzed before. "Therefore" means that because it is separated from the self-nature of oneness and multiplicity, it is selflessness, and I have also said that it cannot be spoken of as oneness and multiplicity, this is a concluding word. Thus, after the Blessed One showed that things in the view of external existence are selfless, in order to show that what is to be known is internal, he said, "If one analyzes with wisdom..." "Without other-power" means that other-power is a summary word for selflessness, thinking that it is because other-power is also empty of the self-nature of oneness and multiplicity. "Also without imputation" means it is the self-nature of the completely imputed. The completely imputed is selfless because it is only empty of characteristics. "Established" means it is the self-nature of the perfectly established.

Therefore, complete accomplishment is the nature of Dharma-nature, because the object of thought has been established as being without inherent existence. If these were merely non-existent, then one might wonder, how do they appear in the world? Therefore, it is said, "Without inherent existence and without consciousness." Here, inherent existence refers to the three natures, such as the nature of other-dependence. Consciousness refers to the six types of consciousness that recognize external objects. And the object of recognition is considered to be the category of real things. Those who are considered by outsiders to be the basis of consciousness, such as the eye or the self, are the Alaya consciousness because they are the basis of consciousness. Alternatively, at the time of destruction, all things will leave behind habits of inherent existence, etc. Therefore, the nature, etc., considered by the Samkhya school is considered to be the Alaya consciousness. "Same taste" means that because it is free from the agitation of truly distinguishing the Dharma, it is described as "like a dead person." It means that although these do not exist in the ultimate truth, they appear due to the discrimination of children and are not truly existent. So how do the wise abide in the true nature of Dharma? Therefore, it is said, "Signs, things, consciousness." Signs refer to blue, yellow, male, female, etc. Things refer to the inner and outer aggregates. Consciousness refers to the five aggregates of consciousness, such as eye consciousness. "The movement of the mind" refers to the discrimination of other-dependence, etc. "Completely transcended" means completely transcending all the elaborations of signs, etc. It means that any state of clinging to signs such as blue is a state of elaboration, so transcending the state of elaboration means entering into non-conceptual samadhi. Therefore, it is because it is established by reason and scripture. "Those with white intelligence" refers to Dharmakirti and others. They
