In order to show that there is a fault of being sometimes unreasonable, it is said, "The aspect of the object of cognition at the same time as consciousness," and so on. If it is thought that it will become causal, it is said, "Even if it is causal, there are some," and so on. The term "other-powered" means that because it is dependent arising, it will become the nature of other-powered, but it is not the nature of the completely imputed. This is a concluding word. Immediately admitting existence is the characteristic of dependent arising, because the characteristic of dependent arising and its very nature are necessarily related, so it does not arise without it. In order to show that very nature of relation, it is said, "Other-powered is other than dependent arising," and so on. If it is so, how can existence be established as not arising without dependent arising? Therefore, it is said, "Even from the nature arising from conditions," and so on. "That" refers to the aspect. "The absence of aspect itself will change," means that one will always experience only the absence of aspect. If it is thought that consciousness itself is only the object of cognition, it is said, "It is like a pure crystal ball," and so on. The pure crystal ball itself is the state of being free from turning when placed near. It is not the object of cognition for those who see this shore, therefore it is thought that consciousness will not become the object of cognition, so it is said, "The aspect that has become internal and external," and so on. If an internal or external aspect exists, then at that time, even if one experiences the aspects, experiences the aspects that generate confusion, it will certainly not change. If it changes, then when those are neither inside nor outside, by what will one be deceived at that time? Because one is experiencing non-duality, one will certainly not change. For mirages and so on, even though there is no aspect of water and so on, one experiences it, therefore it is thought that the reason "For what, what thing does not exist," and so on, is uncertain, so it is said, "Mirages and so on," and so on. Because the refutation and examination are consistent.

The term "ro" (illusion) is a word that signifies the collection of mirages and the like. If mirages and similar phenomena lack the appearance of water, both internally and externally, how can one experience something that is utterly non-existent? This is only valid when the refutation and examination are identical. If someone thinks that the false appearance that universally manifests is the very nature of illusion, and therefore, even the absence of appearance is experienced through the power of illusion, that is incorrect. The term "illusion" refers either to the habit that generates illusion or to the illusory consciousness that arises from such a habit. In the first case, since there is no connection between habit and appearance, it is unreasonable to experience appearances through the power of habit, as it would be too extreme. To say that there is a connection only through the nature that arises from it is also unreasonable, as it would lead to excessive dependence on others, as before. If it is the second case, even if there is some connection between illusory consciousness and appearances, it would only become its own nature, and not the nature that arises from it, since it is experienced simultaneously with consciousness. Two simultaneous things cannot be in a cause-and-effect relationship. Therefore, it is difficult to avoid the fault of excessive dependence on others, as the nature of the fruit of habit is no different from consciousness, just like illusion. This is what is being explained. Regarding illusion, as mentioned before, the consciousness that has become the fruit of habit, that very nature possesses its own essence; this is how the words are combined. This refers to the fact that, since the connection is not established, it is proven that one cannot experience what does not exist. The word "etc." encompasses statements such as, "For those with eyes disturbed by mantras, like various clays, although separated from their essence, they appear as other things." For those whose minds are uncontrollably attached to external objects...
