The term "if it becomes false" has two aspects. Among them, from the first aspect, since it is of the nature of being one with consciousness and non-different, the nature of consciousness will not become various forms. Therefore, by the power of forms such as drawings, the meaning of the external object cannot be achieved, because there is no similarity to the form of the drawing. If it is said that the forms are not artificially created because they are established through experience, then in this case, since the forms are non-different from consciousness, they will become as numerous as the forms. If this is not the case, since contradictory dharmas exist, it should not be admitted that they are not different. Thinking like this, etc., is not to prove that one does not want to fall into multiplicity, but to welcome the doubts of those who think that they want to fall into multiplicity. The term "because of rapid occurrence" means because of rapid occurrence. The term "lotus petal," etc., is for detailed explanation. The term "because of extreme speed" is a synonym for "because it occurs very quickly." The term "what is seen is" means seeing simultaneously. If that is the case, "the wisdom of the sound of bamboo, etc.," etc., by making it too extreme, shows that rapid occurrence is not the cause of simultaneous knowledge. Combine the words "on the sound of bamboo, etc., wisdom." The sound of "etc." includes sounds such as palm, ocean, and taste. Because the sound of bamboo, etc., also has the same reason, it will become an arrogance of clinging to simultaneity. Therefore, hearing the sound of bamboo and palm will not become different hearing, because different hearing is produced by successive clinging. The cause with fruit, this will not necessarily become uncertain. Therefore, thinking that only a few things will become the cause of simultaneous cognition of things, therefore it is said that "similar causes and conditions should not be different," etc. Thinking like this, whatever is the cause of things will inevitably produce fruit.

It is only so. Those who say, "If causes are not hindered, they do not possess results," are merely thinking of the cause and are simply nominally established. You, with your manifest pride in grasping what arises gradually as being instantaneous, do not accept anything other than the rapid arising of causes, and that cause is the same in all respects, because the pride of clinging to instantaneous things depends only on rapid arising. Since it is merely arising, it becomes merely arising in all respects, because there is no lack of causes. Although rapid arising is without lack, that which does not arise is not logically its cause, because it would be too extreme. Therefore, although the cause has the same characteristic of rapid arising, whatever distinguishes between the existence and non-existence of the pride of possessing a cause and clinging to instantaneous things does not change, because the difference in results is caused by the difference in causes. Therefore, it does not follow the existence of the cause, nor does it fail to follow the non-existence of the cause, so it is not the result of the cause itself. Furthermore, since other causes are not accepted, it becomes only causelessness. Other refutations: It is also said, "Even if it is only mental conception," and so on. Conception means discrimination. "Only" means that it is not mixed with other dissimilar kinds of knowledge. "Not abiding for long" means that it is momentary. "All minds" refers to minds such as the eye-consciousness. "Mind" refers to examining immediate actions and so on. "Examining" refers to the manifest realization of the self-nature of something that has not previously occurred. The word "etcetera" includes the mind that trains the mind, the mind, and so on. The time of the mind and examination themselves is temporary. That temporary state is whatever has the nature of arising, thus combining the words. "If only one" and so on explain the latter half. "Therefore" refers to what follows. From the perspective of the opponent's system, it is because everything is promised to perish quickly. If there is no gradual grasping, what will happen? All things appear to be different.
