If that were true, then why wouldn't mutually inconsistent things like obscured and unobscured limbs and bodies become objects of the eye? If you say that those are also its, then is it connected with other parts, or is it itself? Otherwise, a single coarse entity would not be established. This is even coarser than that, for if it is connected with the remaining parts, then it will only focus on such a dharma. However, would the cause of initially creating it, or establishing the coarse, become the nature of a single, truly existent atom? It should not change in that way either. If it were to adhere, would it be like those who eat crumbs saying that they gather together and create a function? Or does it exist with a nature of not adhering by mutual holding and surrounding, as some say: From different directions, many gather, merely surrounding in some aspects. The spoken atom is not of the nature of having parts. Or it is not a multitude of aggregates, like atoms do not touch, but because there is no space between them, they are perceived as touching. This is also not acceptable, because all these establishments are merely the essence of investigation. If it adheres with all its nature, then substances will mix, because the single nature of the atom, with which it adheres, will also adhere with others. If it adheres with one aspect, then it will become part, because it adheres to other atoms with other and other natures. Having intervals will also become the appearance in the intervals and the opportunity for dark atoms, because darkness is the nature of darkness and light, so it will adhere to those. The aspect of having no interval is also no different from the aspect of adhering, no interval is no interval. Contact and adhesion are not different in meaning, the great chariots have already opened the great road. Even so, it should be briefly examined. Adhesion or surrounding, or even abiding without interval. Observing a single atom, an atom in the center, what is the nature that is seen? Observing other atoms is also the same.

If it is said to be so, then how do water and so on increase? Even in all three directions, in the center of the subtle particles abiding in the ten directions, the most subtle particle that abides, if it is the nature of observing the most subtle particle abiding in the east, if it also observes the most subtle particles abiding in the remaining directions, then, at that time, because of observing its nature, like a subtle particle thought to abide in the east, or like observing a house in the east, those abiding in other remaining directions will not change as they are. Therefore, since parts such as east and west do not abide, the mandala of the earth and so on will also not abide. If it is said that this fault will arise, (verse) the face of a subtle particle observing others, if it is thought to be other, if it is so, how is the most subtle particle, the only one without parts? Because it has the nature of the number of the most subtle particles abiding in the ten directions, like this, speak of a single establishment. Because it is a characteristic of different natures, things are different, and those most subtle particles will also become that many. Because those are also like that, subtle particles are established without nature, therefore, objects and substances, etc., I and others say many, appear to be without nature. If it is determined that all the most subtle particles are non-existent, then one's own school thinks that the eye and form and its consciousness, etc., are truly existent, and the substances and qualities, etc., spoken of by the Vaisheshika school, etc., do not need to be fabricated, and it is also determined to be empty of nature. Is this the king's teaching? No, it is created by its nature, its qualities arise from it, its general and specific characteristics also, those possess it. One's own school thinks that the ten realms of the form realm, those are the most subtle particles, etc., those cannot do without it. Like this, relying on the eye and form, etc., eye consciousness arises, etc., relying on it and the object, if it does not exist, what do the five consciousness realms rely on to arise? If the five consciousness realms do not exist,
