Thinking that since the agent is also to be examined, the object established by it is also non-existent. Therefore, it is said, "When." At any time, if discrimination examines another object, and that object is also to be examined by an agent, then at that time it is also to be examined by another agent, and that is also to be examined by another object, so there will be no end. Therefore, for the agent, it is not the object to be examined, but rather the object itself. Examining the object to be examined is the determination of what should be determined. Moreover, the place to be examined is no longer existent. Because there is no place, the discriminating agent will not enter. The absence of entering and so on is said to be nirvana, because it is pacified without action. Those who speak of ultimate truth, who discriminate, and who consider the measure and the object of discrimination, that is, the measurable, to be true, are in a very fallen state of existence because they fall into samsara, that is, they are in a bad place. Expressing that itself, it is said, "If." If knowledge, by the power of valid cognition, establishes the object to be measured, then, at that time, by what is the existence of knowledge itself determined? Because there is no self-awareness. If another valid cognition is sought, there will be no end. Or, by the power of the knowable, that is, by the power of the object to be measured, the valid cognition is established. Then, if one thinks, by what will there be no end? At that time, by what is the existence of the object to be measured understood? If it is said that by the power of knowledge the existence of the knowable is established, and by the power of the knowable the knowledge itself is established, then at that time neither will exist, because they are mutually dependent, and if one is not established, the other will not be established. The absence of a father and so on is a corresponding example. When someone produces a son, it changes outward, but it is not so until it is produced. As long as there is no father, the birth of a son is also non-existent, so both are non-existent. It is also said that the two are established in mutual dependence.

. Both are not ultimately real. Similarly, knower and knowable are also not established. The opponent says, for example, "sprout," meaning to make it understood. Just like a sprout, why not understand and become accustomed to the fact that the knowable of the knower exists? The proponent says, for example, "from sprout," if the sprout is known by a knower different from the sprout, thereby understanding and recognizing that the seed exists, then the knower itself does not come from anything, because there is no self-awareness, and other knowers cannot reach it either. In the aspect of investigation, in conventional truth, the objects of cause and effect should not be denied, but not so in ultimate truth. Thus, to speak of self-nature is to speak of no cause. They think that all kinds of beings are inherently without cause, so how could they arise from cause? Therefore, it should be thought that all kinds of beings are inherently without cause. As it is said: "Lotus stamens, etc., Who made the various forms? Peacock feathers, etc., Who conjured the various spots?" So it is said, and some people think so. The answer is, for the time being, rely on inference, because stating the cause will harm it. Some think that these various things are caused by Ishvara. Having said "Ishvara," it means please show what this Ishvara is like. If the elements, i.e., earth, etc., are the cause, then earth, etc., are sufficient to be established as the cause through the way of following and reversing. What is the point of laboring only on the name? Furthermore, in order to always refute faults from the perspective of sound. However, having said "many," it means the many natures of earth, etc. Impermanence is destruction. Without mind is because of being separated from consciousness. Non-divine is that which is not to be relied upon. "Trampling" means to press and trample with feet, etc. Impure is whatever has become dirty. If this Ishvara is inconceivable, then what does Ishvara do by using his own nature? Thinking inconceivable
