To harm is to destroy. A relative is a connection. A condition is a change, meaning to analyze and distinguish that such a condition produces such a result. After thinking like this, in order to explain not to be angry with sentient beings, therefore it is said "those with bodies." Those with consciousness are sentient beings, those without consciousness are sticks, etc. To do harm is to produce that harm. "If" means, among the two who do harm, only distinguish the conscious one, saying do not be angry. Now, in order to jointly condemn the faults of both, it is said "some are ignorant." Ignorance, that is, doing wrong because of not understanding, is to make oneself flawed. Also, in "who" etc., "that" refers to doing such an action. If it is not like that, how can I eliminate the result of the action I have done? "Like that" etc. is easy to understand. When thinking about how to strive, it is said "like a house on fire" etc. "Spreading" refers to transforming into a special action. That is grass etc. To what one becomes attached, that is completely clinging. Fire spreading is tormenting. Merit is one's own body. Burning is completely destroying it. "Abandoning" is doing. Furthermore, in order to explain that like this, a little suffering of a person can be separated from the karmic result of hell, this is a supreme attainment, therefore it is said "like a sacrificial animal." Thinking that I cannot even endure a little suffering, it is said "the present suffering" etc. "This little" refers to this small amount. "Why be angry" refers to why not prevent the anger that is the cause of hell. "Like this" refers to being without result. "Even if experiencing" refers to being tormented by burning and cutting etc. "This" refers to behavior etc. "Merely" refers to merely hell etc. "Great benefit" refers to Buddhahood itself. Therefore, one should only like the suffering of behavior etc. In order to explain that hearing praise of others' virtues can wash away the stain of jealousy.

Ra. Just as it is said, "others," etc., why doesn't your mind further praise the virtues and thereby experience joy? "This" refers to the happiness and joy of this person. The source of happiness is that from this comes the happiness of others. Without fault refers to this life. Possessing virtues refers to the Buddhas, etc. Praising that truth causes happiness to arise in me. Because of hating the virtues of others, one does not wish for one's own happiness, which is not wishing for joy. If that is the case, then even giving wages, etc., will only make others happy, so here you will also retreat because of that. Not doing work will cause eyesight to deteriorate. The sin of not giving wages to those who do work will also cause unseen things to deteriorate. Furthermore, when others proclaim your virtues, do you wish those who are skilled at proclaiming the virtues of others to be happy? The virtues of others refer to the virtues of enemies. In order to dispel intolerance towards the perfect virtues of others, "sentient beings," etc., are mentioned. Even if one vows to become a Buddha, there is no promise to give happiness to others, so even if one is intolerant, there is no conflict, if someone argues like that. "Reverence," etc., are mentioned, and if one is intolerant and angry even at a small bad thing, then how could he possibly have the mind of enlightenment? In order to instruct from another angle, "if" is said. "That" refers to others. "That" refers to things. "Without" refers to what you cannot obtain. "What to do" refers to whether giving or not giving is of great importance. "Faith" refers to the faith of the giver. It is also one's own virtue. "Why abandon" refers to not giving even a little fruit, and trying to prevent it in any way. After preventing the unwillingness to benefit from the gains of others, now in order to prevent the joy arising from unwanted things, "if an enemy" is said. "What is there" means that there will be no harm to him at all. If one thinks that just because I have not praised him, displeasure will arise in him, then "you" is said. "Will not become a cause" means without previous karma.

If merely your desire becomes the cause of others' suffering, then why do you delight in others' suffering? This means it is without result. Craving is what is needed. There is no destruction apart from that; this itself is destruction without result. Why is this considered destruction? Because affliction is mentioned. Affliction itself is like a fisherman casting a lure. Like a lure, it is an iron hook with meat for the purpose of catching fish. "Unpleasant" means extremely painful. The affliction, like a fisherman, catches you, who are like a fish, from the river of merit, puts you in a small-mouthed, large-bellied pot, and cooks you. In order to advise not to be complacent with praise and the like, praise and the like are mentioned. There are five aspects that one wishes to pursue for the benefit of beings: merit, longevity, strength, freedom from illness, and bodily well-being. Praise is the expression of qualities. Strength comes from the body. "Knowing" means becoming wise. "Regarding this" refers to the five aspects mentioned. If there is also happiness in the mind, shouldn't it be firmly grasped? Because there is such a doubt, "mental happiness" is mentioned. Furthermore, in order to show that praise and the like are themselves deceptive, "fame" is mentioned. The words are the words of praise. Happiness is the happiness of fame and the like. Again, in order to show that these are the nature of children from another perspective, For the sake of it, five verses such as "sandcastle" are spoken, that is, fame is what one does not want. "That" refers to the happiness of others. "Cold" refers to the cause of happiness, that is, dependence. If that happiness also belongs to others, then it is of no benefit to me, because it belongs to them, so there is no connection. "That happiness" refers to his happiness and well-being. If one wants to obtain happiness from the happiness of praise, then one should want everything at that time. What is the use of this individual determination? From me arises happiness for others, and if he feels happy because of it, why don't I
