If it is its inherent nature, then what else is there to say? If it is said that even though its form is related to other forms in its earlier and later stages, it is still the same, like glass. If that is the case, then all beings would become one, because in that way, it itself is a common dharma. For example, the knowledge of sound and form in the earlier and later times, although different because of their different forms, if they are one, then all sentient beings, those belonging to the lineage of living beings, would become one self, which is attainable, because even if things are different, there is no difference. Therefore, in order to show that this inference still occurs, it is said "mind" and so on. If one abandons the difference of the reasons for the difference in the middle, and relies on some form to say that it is one, then, that which has mind is the dharma of a person, and that which has no mind is the dharma of nature. (Tibetan), moreover, this word is to collect other faults, they will also become one and undifferentiated objects. How so? Those with mind and those without mind, for what reason do they exist? That which is possessed is also the same as the inherent form of things, that is, similar to both. If it is said that even if these things are different, they are one because of the reason of similarity, therefore, the desired thing is established, there is no fault, if it is said like this. When "difference" and so on are said, because other faults are eliminated, it is the word འང་ (Tibetan). Difference is that all different things are uncertain, so when it is inverted, when it is the unreal inherent form, what is the basis of similarity? What is relied upon to establish similarity? Even if there is a difference, it will become similar because of a slight similarity. If there is no difference, it will become itself, not similar. If a cow and those that are not cows do not experience the difference, then that which is not a cow will not become like a cow, but will become the cow itself. Therefore, difference itself is the basis of similarity, and when it does not become real, then, what will it be like at that time? The form of similarity itself

Therefore, a person is not a reason dependent on other things, and there is not even a slight bit of such a reason. Therefore, things become one and the same, not caused by your similarity. If so, then there is no fault in proving what has already been established. Similarly, the self of the nature of mind, which is completely examined by the Samkhya and Vaisheshika schools, is not established. How can refutation be expressed for what is examined by the speaker of the secret ultimate meaning of the Vedas? Now, in order to refute the assertion of the existence of a mindless self examined by logicians and others, "mindless also" and so on are stated. For the time being, it is unreasonable to say that there is a self with mind, but it is not to show that mindless is not self, but to say that it is unreasonable. Unreasonable, this is the meaning of the word "also". Why? Because it is mindless. Because it does not have mind. Which is mindless, that is mindless. Therefore, it means that it is because it is mindless. Like what? Like pūlu etc. Just as pūlu, trees, and mountains etc. are not self because they do not have mind, so is the manifested intention, because it has been promised as karma and agent etc. Otherwise, it is of no use at all. Mindless is also unreasonable there, for example, pūlu etc. If, even if this self does not have mind, but through the mind of wisdom it makes it have mind, then there is no fault, because this is the thought of others. Or because it has mind, so it is said to know. Or, this is a question. Or, this self, because it has mind, from wisdom and discipline, even if it does not have mind itself, can it know? Because it can know, it is a knower. If this is admitted, then one will fall into the fear of not knowing, because when states such as coma and fainting occur, when having mind disappears, the self does not know, and when nothing is known, one will fall into fear, because one completely abandons the nature previously related to mind, so one will completely fall into fear.
