Now, there is attachment to seeing things as truly appearing. Others, with the key of discriminating eye medicine, remove the cataract of ignorance, and those with the eye of true wisdom, only the noble ones who realize suchness, become the object of true wisdom, thus establishing self-nature. Thus, all these things hold two self-natures. Among these self-natures, the objects seen as false by children are the conventional truth; and the objects of those who realize the suchness of the true state are established as the ultimate truth by treatises of reason. As it is said: Seeing things as true and false, because of attainment, all things hold two natures, whatever is seen as true is that, what is seen as false is called conventional truth. Thus. Therefore, it is reasonable to summarize the two as two. The word "desire" means manifest desire. Who are they? They are the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who have minds free from obscurations, and the noble Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas who follow them. These are the two truths, and there is no other truth, and the word "of" is also appropriate as a definite meaning. As it is said: Relying on the two truths, the Buddhas teach the Dharma, namely the worldly conventional truth and the ultimate truth. So it is said. In the Sutra of the Meeting of Father and Son, it is also said: These two truths of worldly wise men, you have not heard from others, but have seen for yourself. That is the conventional truth and the ultimate truth, there is no third truth. So it is said. Didn't the Bhagavat teach the nature of the four noble truths of suffering, origin, cessation, and path in the Abhidharma? Then, how can it be said that there are only two truths? It is true, but because of the inclinations and habits of the beings to be tamed, the two are transformed into four and taught, because these are all included in the two. Thus, suffering, origin, and path are all included in the conventional truth by the nature of the conventional truth, and the truth of cessation is the ultimate truth, and there is no contradiction at all.

Even if that is the case, how can the conventional truth be true, since it is indicated by ignorance and is of the nature of unreal imputation, so that even if it is lost hundreds of times through analysis? To that, it is true, but because of the attachment of worldly people, it is called the conventional truth. Worldly people themselves consider it to be the conventional truth, and following that, the Blessed One also disregards that very meaning and says it is the conventional truth. For that very reason, "The worldly conventional truth," in the treatises, with distinctions, was spoken by the master in person. For things, there is only one ultimate truth, so there is no loss at all. As the Blessed One said, "Monks, this is the only ultimate truth. For example, the non-deceptive is the Dharma of Nirvana, and all compounded things are false and deceptive." This is the explanation of the two truths. In this regard, understand that the mind that arises from ignorance is by its nature the conventional truth. Since one does not know what the ultimate truth is like, what its characteristics are, or what its nature is, at that time one should explain its characteristics, like this: "The ultimate is not the object of the mind." The mind is all knowledge, and because it transcends the realm of all knowledge, it is not an object, that is, it is not an object. This is to say that none of the forms of the mind can be made into an object. How can its nature be shown in that way? In this way, the nature that is completely liberated from all elaboration, that suchness is the suchness of the ultimate truth, and therefore it cannot be seen by any kind of conceptualization, because it is free from all distinctions. The nature that transcends investigation is also not the object of sounds, because sounds are produced by conceptualization, and the mind of conceptualization does not enter into what is not an object. Therefore, since it is free from all conceptual expressions, it is not imputed, it is not conventional, and the inexpressible is the ultimat
