Suffering will also cease. In this way, this great mass of suffering will cease. Among them, ignorance, craving, and grasping are completely eliminated in the path of affliction, while actions and existence are completely eliminated in the path of karma. The remaining limbs are completely eliminated in the path of suffering, and the cessation of the prior and posterior limits is completely eliminated in the path of cessation. In this way, the three paths are not without self, but rather without self and what belongs to self. They arise from the cause of birth and cease from the cause of cessation, like bamboo joints for things. These will also be explained in detail later with reasoning and scripture. Therefore, when one individually contemplates conditioned phenomena with wisdom as being of the nature of dreams, illusions, and so on, one realizes that all dharmas are without inherent existence. From the understanding of ultimate truth, the accumulation of faults, including habitual tendencies, can be reversed, and the wisdom that is the cause of pacifying all suffering will arise. Because through it, when examined with scripture and reasoning, the true nature of things is clearly revealed without inversion. Conventional truth, ignorance, delusion, and perversion are all synonyms. Ignorance also imputes the nature of unreal meanings, and because it obscures the vision of reality, it is reasonable in conventional truth. As stated in the Salu Ljangpa Sutra: 'Furthermore, the reality of ignorance and wrong discrimination is not understanding and ignorance.' It also says: 'When ignorance arises, unreal meanings appear, entering into obscuring reality, like eye disease causing harm.' Therefore, what it approximately shows is also the nature of dependent arising things, which is called conventional truth. It itself is called worldly conventional truth, and worldly people themselves call it truth through conventional truth. Any delusion is conventional because it obscures the nature. Whatever is merely false, it shows as true. The meaning and action of things are also conventional. This is called conventional truth, which is spoken by the capable one.

The worldly itself divides into two: false conventional truth and true conventional truth. For example, whatever arises slightly from conditions, such as the nature of blue and so on, when perceived by an unimpaired sense faculty, is true from the worldly perspective. Although arising from dependent origination, things like illusions, mirages, and reflections are seen by sense faculties that possess faults. Similarly, what is completely speculated by non-Buddhists according to their own tenets is also false from the worldly perspective. As it is said: If the senses are not impaired, the six perceive the worldly realm; that is true in the world itself; other speculations in the world are false. Thus, both of these are false to the noble ones who see reality, because in the state of ultimate truth, conventional truth is deluded. This should be understood immediately through reasoning. Therefore, the nature of things does not appear to those who possess ignorance. Supreme is excellent, and meaning is the supreme meaning, which is the unconditioned nature of things, the understanding of which eliminates the afflictions associated with the habitual tendencies that obscure it. All phenomena, such as selflessness, emptiness, suchness, the ultimate limit, and the realm of phenomena, are different names. The meaning of all dependent origination, selflessness, is the essence of ultimate truth, because the conventional truth that appears is unreasonable. For example, for a while, by the nature of what is seen, things are not of an existing nature, because they do not remain in the subsequent time. Nature is also not entirely temporary, because it is of an unwavering nature. Whatever is the nature of something, it can never change, otherwise, its nature would be destroyed, and it would become without nature. When it arises, it does not come from somewhere with the nature of existence, nor does it go somewhere when it ceases. However, like an illusion, it arises by the nature of the collection of causes and conditions. When it is incomplete...

The collapse of the ground is also like this. It arises from the complete gathering of causes and conditions, and it obtains its own nature by depending on others. This is just like an image. How could it be its own nature? Because its meaning is not ultimately real. It is impossible for something to arise from the gathering of causes and conditions, because it also depends on others. Those who obtain their essence from the nature that arises from other gatherings are all without inherent existence. Similarly, anything else that arises from the collection of its own causes from the previous one should be regarded as without inherent existence. Those who desire that cause and effect be consistent, how can they accept that the nature of things arises from non-things? What will be said is: What is conjured up by magic? And what is conjured up by causes? Where does it come from, and where does it go? Examine it. What appears by relying on what, if it does not exist, then it will not exist, like a false image, how can it have truth? Thus it is said. It is also said: Whatever is born from conditions is unborn. It does not have the nature of arising. Whatever depends on conditions is said to be emptiness. Whoever understands emptiness is not negligent. Thus it is said. From the dharmas that are only emptiness, the dharmas of emptiness will arise. Thus it is said. It is very unreasonable for things to arise from association with one's own, others', or both causes, and from association with no cause. Like this, if the nature of one's own self is the cause of self-arising, then is it at the time of being born or not being born? Being born is impossible, because if one's own nature is the cause, then all of its nature has already been produced by itself. Wherever, for this thing that has a function, the thing to be produced has already arisen, because it is the non-nature of other things, because this one itself has parts. The other thing that will arise later cannot be its nature, because its establishment and non-establishment are not its nature. Therefore, it is impossible for something to arise from its own nature. Moreover, from the point of view of arising from oneself, nothing is reasonable, for the nature that has already been established, one to one.
