Moreover, it is the cause of the nature of the immediately preceding quiescence. Furthermore, "hand" means that wisdom arises from all aspects, and it is the collection or basis of its causes. The meaning of wisdom is that the previously mentioned wisdom itself is needed, and it is to be accomplished, because wisdom arises in the stream of mind that has been completely purified by quiescence. It is like crops growing in a well-cultivated field. As it is said in the Compendium of Trainings, how great is the nature of this quiescence? It is able to generate knowledge as it is. Because through samadhi, one can fully know as it is, therefore it is said that this was spoken by the Able One. This is also said in the Noble Collection of Dharmas: With a mind in samadhi, one will see as it is. A Bodhisattva who sees as it is will generate great compassion for sentient beings. I will accomplish this door of samadhi for all sentient beings. Motivated by that great compassion, through the complete practice of higher discipline, higher mind, and higher wisdom, one will perfect the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, as extensively explained in the sutra. The reason for "is" is that the Able One said that the retinue of generosity and so on, or the retinue of the nature of quiescence, is for the sake of wisdom. Therefore, it should be added, "Wisdom should be generated." "Should be generated" means should be accomplished, or should be made manifest, or should be cultivated, or should be relied upon, or should be increased. That wisdom is also of two types: that which is the cause and that which is the result. That which is the cause is also of two types: the practitioner of faith and the Bodhisattva who has attained the ground. That which is the result is also the nature of realizing the emptiness of all dharmas, possessing all kinds of excellence, through signless yoga. Among them, first, that which is the cause is the wisdom that arises from deeply entering the ground through the habitual practice of the sequence of hearing, thinking, and meditating. Moreover, that also becomes supremely enhanced through the yoga of attaining other grounds. Such as

It enables the complete perfection of the wisdom nature of the Buddha himself, who is free from the two obscurations and has abandoned all networks of conceptualization. Therefore, it is said, "Those who desire the cessation of suffering." Suffering refers to the nature of birth, sickness, old age, and death, which are inherent in the aggregates of sentient beings included in the five realms of samsara, as well as the characteristics of separation from the pleasant, encountering the unpleasant, and obstructing desires. In short, it is also the nature of the aggregates of grasping. Cessation refers to nirvana, which is the nature of complete pacification without rebirth, meaning the utter cessation of continuity. Desire refers to synonyms such as manifest desire and longing. Thus, due to distorted perception, the force of clinging to reality, which grasps the unreal as real, causes attachment to self, thereby arising from improper attention. From this, a multitude of afflictions such as desire arise truly. From this comes action, and from action comes birth, and from birth also come sickness, old age, death, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, and complete weariness of unpleasantness. Thus, from this alone, a great mass of suffering will arise. Therefore, by focusing on dependent origination with correct wisdom in a manner contrary to the usual way, and by seeing that very thing as devoid of self, without a master, like an illusion, like a mirage, like a city of gandharvas, like a dream, like a reflection, and so on, one truly understands that it is without inherent existence in the ultimate sense, and thus knows it as it is. Furthermore, it reverses ignorance, the branch of existence that is the nature of delusion, which is the opposite side of it. When ignorance ceases, then the action that is conditioned by it also ceases. Thus, it should be understood that as the earlier causes cease, the later effects also cease. As long as birth ceases, then old age, death, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, and unpleasantness also completely
