Beings are like a dream, when examined closely, they are like trees in water. Nirvana and non-Nirvana, in that, there is no difference. Thus, in empty things, what is gained, what is lost? Who has made offerings, who has despised? From where does happiness and suffering come? What is displeasure, what is pleasure? If one searches in that place, who is attached, and to what is one attached? If examined, this sentient world, who will die here? What will be born, what has been born? Who are relatives and friends? May all be completely embraced by beings like me, like the sky. Those who desire their own happiness, with the cause of fighting and amusement, Make great noise and joy. Sorrow, diligence, arguments, etc., mutual cutting and piercing, etc., Accumulate great wealth with sinful deeds. Coming and going to happy realms again and again, after enjoying many pleasures, After death, falling into the suffering of evil realms, into unbearable long periods. In samsara, there are many dangerous places, there, what is not true is like this. There, also, because of mutual opposition, there is nothing like this in samsara. That also is an incomparable, unbearable, ocean of suffering beyond measure. There, like that, strength is small, there, life is also short. There, also, the suffering of living and being without illness, labor and hunger, Sleep and harm, and likewise, association with children is meaningless, Life passes quickly without meaning, wisdom is very difficult to find. There, also, the habit of distraction, where is the method to reverse it? There, also, because of falling into the great hells, the demons strive diligently. There, there are many wrong paths, and it is difficult to cross over doubt, Again, it is very difficult to find that place, and it is very difficult for the Buddha to appear. The river of afflictions is difficult to abandon, alas, suffering continues. Thus, even though it is extremely painful, those who do not see their own suffering, These who dwell in the river of suffering, alas, it is worthy of sorrow. For example, someone bathes again and again, and then enters the fire again and again, Thus, even though dwelling in extreme suffering, one considers oneself happy. Thus, without aging and death, acting in all places, From the very beginning, they are killed.
