To dispel such doubts, it is taught: The eye is empty by its very nature. And so on. The meaning is this: For those who doubt that they possess their own nature by something else, they must also possess characteristics, and those characteristics are also incompatible with it according to the previously stated reasons, therefore its nature is also emptiness. Therefore, like this, completely examining the form aggregate and the inner and outer sense bases belonging to it as being empty of nature is also completely examining the reason for the constant reversal of its own body. Now, in order to approximately show the reason for the inverted attachment to happiness by showing that the feeling aggregate does not have its own nature, and by showing that its cause, contact, does not exist, the two noble ones are taught: When one touch changes simultaneously. And so on. Those Hearers believe that the feeling object has its own nature. Moreover, it is unreasonable without conditions, so they also admit that touch is its cause, because it is said, "Feeling arises from the condition of touch." But that is also unreasonable, like this, touching with this, so it is called touch, is it the nature of doing touch, or is it the nature of touch touching called touch? For the time being, it is unreasonable to be the nature of the agent, because the root, object, and consciousness are the agents here, and they are also uncommon natures. Therefore, when an agent, such as eye contact, becomes the nature of performing the act of contact, and is connected with the approaching nature, the other forms, etc., are also empty, that is the remainder. Furthermore, if it is said that one was previously shown in this case, then it should be shown that the rest are empty, even so, in order to show that the remaining three have the same reason. Relative to this, because of the many manifestations, the others are all empty. Therefore, in the words of many

Therefore, it is unreasonable to say that it is a suitable teaching. Whatever touches other things, its nature of emptiness and separation will never be non-empty, that is, it does not rely on having. If something shows non-emptiness through it, then the thing itself is the main reason, so "not relying" is added. The meaning is: the nature of becoming the executor of the act of touch, because of its clear and distinct nature, is itself multiple. Touch, as the cause of feeling, is also not considered to be of multiple nature. Therefore, the touch of the nature of performing the act of touch does not exist. To show that this is also unreasonable in the nature of action, it is mentioned that "because its own nature does not exist," and so on. Gathering means gathering and touching, which exists only in things that have senses, etc., but not for those that do not exist in essence. These things also do not exist, because their own nature does not exist. Because, as analyzed by the reasoning shown earlier, for these things, there is no nature that must exist in the elements and the properties produced by the elements. Therefore, for these three things, namely the senses, etc., there is no reasoning of the nature of action. Therefore, since there is no cause, feeling also does not exist, let alone its aggregate? Now, in order to clarify more clearly the reason for causing inverted clinging, that is, the aggregate of recognition, therefore "internal" and so on are mentioned. Because, from the internal eye, etc., and the external form, etc., recognition arises, this is production. Therefore, recognition does not exist. It is not self-existent. Because of the reasoning shown earlier, these two places of birth, which are considered to be its cause, are themselves non-existent, that is its meaning. Then, if it does not exist, how does it appear? Therefore, "mirage" and so on are mentioned. Just as the mirage is associated with sand, the rays of the sun, and the nature of illusions such as wood and clay, which are completely grasped by gems, mantras, and medicines, etc., are falsely manifested as forms of water and elephants, etc.
