Therefore. Thus, calling a person with good eyes "blind," calling a short-lived person "long-lived," calling an ugly person "naturally beautiful," and so on, are also designations of names that do not correspond to their meanings. Therefore, for what reason is something named "existent"? For that reason, it will not become existent. Another way of saying this is, this is another expression: for what reason is something named "non-possessing"? For that reason of naming, it will not become existent. If, by naming something existent as "existent," one thinks that things exist by their own nature, then when analyzed with reason, why can't the existence itself be negated by naming non-existence as "non-existent" because of non-existence itself? Just as one thinks of this as existent, it should not be named as non-existent. Here, some say that sounds do not reveal the self-nature of things. If they did, then when one says "fire," the mouth would be burned, and when one says "pot," the mouth would be filled. Therefore, we should express things with sounds that do not touch the self-nature of things, and the convention of expression is that worldly people say that everything exists. To this it should be said, if all worldly things, exist by being spoken of as worldly, what thing that exists in itself, how does that become worldly? If a thing has the nature of existence, and the worldly expresses it with sounds that do not touch its self-nature, and its self-nature exists, then because it exists by its own nature, it will only become the ultimate truth, and not the worldly. If it exists as worldly itself, and not by its own nature, then at that time the worldly will be established as the ultimate truth, and it should also be established that yogis are liberated from samsara from seeing the ultimate truth. Here it is said, although you speak in common, in that case, by eliminating things, your things will become non-existent. It should be said, this word does not go beyond my thought. If, from the negation of self and things, one admits existence itself and non-contradiction, then at that time the elimination of all self-speakers should be accomplished.

It will not change, saying it is non-existent, which is extremely inferior. To show that this is said because of the admission. If all things become non-existent because of non-existence, then if this is the case, all aspects should not be without things. If things exist, then by preventing it from saying that things do not exist, then at what time, according to the manner of what has been said, when things themselves cannot exist. Because things do not exist, it is impossible for non-things to exist. Why do things not exist? Because the non-existence of things is non-existent. From where do things not exist? Like this. Without things, how can things be established anywhere? Things are characterized by destruction and transformation, which is non-things. For those who say worldly truth, that thing is also certainly not existent when observed, so what does not exist, can things not exist? When the existence of non-existence is impossible, thinking that things depend on non-things, therefore it is non-existent, and the non-existence of things is established. Here it is said that because there is no establishment in the meaning of no cause, you certainly need to show the reason for establishing emptiness. Even if there is a reason, all things are not emptiness, because like the reason, there are other existences. It should be said that if emptiness is produced from reason, therefore it will not become emptiness, then the proposition is not different from the reason, therefore there is no reason. Because there is no emptiness before the cause, and it exists later, emptiness will become fabricated, and if it is not fabricated, it will deceive like a girl transformed by illusion, because emptiness is the nature of being originally the same, so it is not deception, so emptiness does not need to be established by cause. If you think and speak of the cause of knowledge, then even so, the reason is impossible. How is it? Here this reason is said to establish a certain proposition, if this reason is different from that proposition, then if that is the case, because it is not a homogeneous dharma, it will not understand the meaning of the proposition, so it is impossible for the reason to be different from the proposition.
