It should be known that the unborn, which has become the nature of all things, is also merely the non-existence of things because it is nothing at all, and because it has no essence, it is not existent in the nature of things. As the Blessed One said: 'Whoever knows things as non-things, also does not become attached to all things within; whoever is never attached to all things, that one touches the samadhi without characteristics.' Like that. Here it is said: If things do not have self-nature, then for the time being, other things exist, because they have not been negated. If other things exist, then self-nature will also exist, because without self-nature, other things cannot be established. It is said: If it is not without self-nature, where are other things? The self-nature of other things is said to be other things. In this world, only some self-natures are called other things in dependence on other self-natures. If heat is the self-nature of fire, then in relation to water, which has the nature of moisture, it would be called other things. When analyzed, if nothing has self-nature, then how can otherness exist? Because otherness does not exist, it is established that self-nature also does not exist. Here it is said: If self-nature and other things do not exist, then things are temporarily existent, because they have not been negated. If things exist, then they must become either self-nature or other things, therefore, self-nature and other things will also exist. It is said: Self-nature and other things, if there are no things? Self-nature and other things, if there are, things will be established. When analyzing things in this way, is it self-nature or other things? These two are also non-existent in the way previously described, therefore, because these two do not exist, things are also non-existent, it should be determined in this way. Here it is said: If you have negated things, then the non-existence of things is actually existent, because it has not been negated. Therefore, because there is contradiction.

it will also become existent, just like non-things. It should be said: If non-thingness itself exists, things will also become existent, (then) existence is not. If things do not exist, non-things will not exist either. When a thing transforms into something else, people say that it is a non-thing. Here, if something called a thing exists, it becomes a non-thing from transforming into something else, such as a vase, etc., disappearing from its current state and obtaining a transformed state, which in the world becomes the object expressed by the word "non-thing." When these vases, etc., do not exist as the nature of things, how can there be transformation for those who are not of the nature of existence? Therefore, non-things are also not existent. Therefore, in all cases, neither self-nature nor other-nature things, neither things nor non-things exist. Due to the darkness of ignorance impairing the eye of wisdom, perversely, those who see self-nature, other-nature things, things, and non-things, they have not seen the Buddha's teachings. Those who presume to correctly explain the words of the Tathagata, saying that the nature of earth is hardness, the nature of feeling is experiencing objects, the nature of consciousness is distinguishing objects, thus speaking of the nature of things, and that form is other, consciousness is also other, and feeling is also other, thus speaking of other-nature things, and saying that consciousness, etc., in the present state are things, or that consciousness, etc., that have become past are non-things, they are not speaking of the ultimate profound Suchness of dependent origination. Because the existence of self-nature, other-nature things, etc., contradicts the aforementioned reasoning, and the Tathagatas also do not speak words that contradict the reasoning of the nature of things, because they have truly realized the Suchness of all their own things. Therefore,
