Just as there is no certainty about external objects individually. The internal sources of arising each have definite objects, like this: the objects of seeing, hearing, smelling, feeling, touching, and mind are, in order, form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and phenomena. Therefore, as the reason stated earlier, the internal sources of arising should be understood only as arising, and it should be known that there is going, because it is the fruit of action, like seeing form, etc. Having said that arising and going exist, like taking form, etc., as examples of objects and seeing, etc., as examples of faculties, just as it is shown how seeing and form are unreasonable. Hearing, etc., and sound, etc., are also taken as examples, just as seeing and form are unreasonable, understanding in the same way as the manner shown, the teacher spoke this verse, thereby also showing that the remaining sources of arising are also unreasonable. It should also be known that the answers to hearing, smelling, feeling, touching, and mind, as well as the hearer and what is heard, etc., have been answered. Because of what? Because it is only seeing, just as denying seeing, denying hearing, etc., should also be done reasonably, by showing it with detailed explanation and expansion, just as when denying seeing, it is said: The nature of seeing itself, now does not see it, when it does not see itself, how does it see others. Thus, from the ultimate point of view, the eye faculty does not see form, because it does not see its own nature, for example, the ear, etc. And from the ultimate point of view, form is not the object of the eye faculty, because it is accumulated, for example, the nature of the eye faculty. Just as by refuting and answering, seeing, the seer, and what is seen are denied. Here it is also said: The nature of hearing itself, it does not hear it, when it does not hear itself, how does it hear others. Thus, from the ultimate point of view, the ear faculty does not hear sound, because it does not hear its own nature, for example, the nose, etc.

And, from the ultimate point of view, sound is not the object of the ear faculty, because it is accumulated, just like the nature of the ear faculty itself. With these answers including refutations, listening, the listener, and what is to be listened to should be refuted. In the nature of the smeller itself, it does not smell itself. When it does not smell itself, how does it smell others? With this reasoning, from the ultimate point of view, the nose faculty does not smell odors, because it does not smell its own nature, just like the tongue and so on. And, from the ultimate point of view, odors are not the object of the nose faculty, because they are accumulated, just like the nature of the nose faculty itself. With these answers including refutations, smelling, the smeller, and what is to be smelled should be refuted. In the nature of the taster itself, it does not taste itself. When it does not taste itself, how does it taste others? With this reasoning, from the ultimate point of view, the tongue faculty does not taste flavors, because it does not taste its own nature, just like the body and so on. And, from the ultimate point of view, flavors are not the object of the tongue faculty, because they are accumulated, just like the nature of the tongue faculty itself. With these answers including refutations, tasting, the taster, and what is to be tasted should be refuted. In the nature of the toucher itself, it does not touch itself. When it does not touch itself, how does it touch others? With this reasoning, from the ultimate point of view, the body faculty does not touch what is to be touched, because it does not touch its own nature, just like the mind and so on. And, from the ultimate point of view, what is to be touched is not the object of the body faculty, because it is accumulated, just like the nature of the body faculty itself. With these answers including refutations, touching, the toucher, and what is to be touched should be refuted. In the nature of the thinker itself, it does not think itself. When it does not think itself, how does it think others? With this reasoning, from the ultimate point of view, the mind faculty does not think dharmas, because it does not think its own nature, just like the eye and so on. And, from the ultimate point of view, dharmas are not the object of the mind faculty, because dharmas
