Therefore, wise individuals, observing sentient beings, should not abandon thoughts, heightened intentions, faith, and great faith. If one generates the mind of enlightenment, what should one do? Therefore, those with intelligence and great strength, who cannot bear the suffering of others, who initiate diligence, and who are powerful and wise, should contemplate all the worlds devoid of the light of wisdom, and liberate themselves and others from the impure ground of samsara. Thus it is said. Those with intelligence possess immaculate wisdom that thoroughly distinguishes all phenomena; those with great strength possess a steadfast mind that is not swayed by all demons and afflictions; those who cannot bear the suffering of others commit to treating all sentient beings as themselves, suffering when they suffer; those who initiate diligence initiate steadfast diligence in virtuous conduct; those with power are capable of accomplishing the benefit of themselves and others; the wise are those who possess the wisdom to know dangers. They should contemplate all the worlds devoid of the light of wisdom, repeatedly examining them, and liberate themselves and the world from the impure ground of samsara. Thus it should be connected. The explanation of great love, the generation of the mind to liberate all sentient beings, the first has been explained. Regarding the generation of the mind to liberate all sentient beings, the second meaning is explained. Whoever, with the sharp sword of wisdom, cuts all bonds and becomes liberated, possessing the nature of compassion, why, for those who are helpless and suffering, bound by the chains of desire and so on in the unbearable prison of samsara, having drunk the wine of carelessness, obscured by the sleep of ignorance, and whose accumulations of virtue are stolen by the thieves of conceptual thought, if they do not liberate them, what is the use of the power of the powerful? Thus it is said. Whoever, with the sword of wisdom, the sharpest sword that cuts through the nature of all afflictions, cuts all the bonds of existence completely, and becomes liberated, possessing the nature of compassion,

That which also liberates others is the power that possesses power, and that should be understood. When it comes to loving-kindness, the phrase "possessing the nature of compassion" is mentioned because loving-kindness and compassion arise in conjunction, so there is nothing wrong with it. "Without protector" means being separated from the ten qualities of being without a protector, such as faith. "Suffering" means possessing sufferings and torments such as death and complete seeking. The unbearable prison of samsara means that the place of the bonds of existence is full of fears, and the characteristic of the continuous rope of birth and aging is unbroken, and the mind is completely afflicted by defilements. "Bound by fetters such as attachment" means being bound by fetters like iron chains, such as the nine all-pervasive afflictions such as attachment. "Having drunk the wine of heedlessness" means that attachment, hatred, ignorance, and laziness are like punishments for heedlessness, and one becomes intoxicated by indulging in them. "Overcome by the sleep of ignorance" means being deeply deluded by the sleep of unknowing. "By the thieves of conceptual thought" means by conceptual thoughts such as desire, malice, and harm, which are like thieves. "They steal all the collections of virtue" means they plunder all the wealth of the seven noble riches. The explanation of great loving-kindness, the generation of the mind to liberate all beings, the second part is finished. Having made the generation of the mind to bring all beings to manifest enlightenment, the third part, with that as the focus. Whatever is accomplished by the strength of the hand, even the small happiness born of desire, if one eats it greedily alone, that is also condemned by the wise. Even a wheel-turning king, a powerful one, and a merchant are very rare. Cutting off craving, and being common through skillful means. Taking and exhaustion and ultimate, not being changed by suffering and the like, that which pacifies all suffering, that is the nectar that realizes the meaning. Thus it is said. For a while, in the world, whatever is accomplished by one's own hand, the small happiness born of desire, one alone, without friends
