"Is" is not for the sake of arguing! "Showing" means completely showing. "Teacher" means to truthfully show gods and humans. "Truly speaking" means to speak the truth as it is. "To him" refers to the teacher. "Respectfully" means from the bottom of one's heart. "Prostration" means may I prostrate. In this way, he shows the perfection of the Bhagavan's own benefit and the benefit of others, because he himself understands that truth and shows it to others. So, for what and with what connection is this treatise composed? Therefore, it says: "For the sake of benefiting others, with asceticism, for those who have generated the mind for great Bodhi, for them to take that nectar, I will briefly speak with strength." It means, "For the sake of benefiting others" means for the sake of doing the benefit of others. "With asceticism" means those who have taken severe asceticism. "Great Bodhi" means that it is both Bodhi and great, so it is Great Bodhi, because all vehicles follow one vehicle, and what is to be realized is boundless. "Those who have generated the mind there" means those who have generated the correct thought of non-retrogression. In order for them to take that truth as nectar, this treatise is composed, so this is not the purpose. "I will briefly speak with strength" is the connection, how is it? Because the Bhagavan, for the sake of the Great Vehicle, spoke the immeasurable words of that truth nectar and the extremely vast meaning, after that, the teacher also widely explained it in the treatises of Madhyamaka, and I, in order to guide those with weak wisdom, will try to say a little bit. When one correctly sees the meaning of all the treatises with wisdom, it seems that they are all complete, the general summary is: "Do not abandon the mind of Bodhi, truly rely on the conduct of the Victorious One, seeking the wisdom of that, is the conduct of accomplishing all meanings." That is to say, for those who have made aspirations for great Bodhi.

First, one should ensure that the mind of enlightenment is inseparable from one's intention. Then, one should truly rely on the ascetic practices of the teacher as taught in the Great Vehicle, which are in accordance with the teachings of the non-Buddhist teachers. After that, without a biased mind, one should thoroughly examine all scriptures and strive to understand the true nature that does not contradict reason and scriptural authority. Thus, these three practices are the practices that accomplish all the benefits for oneself and others. The concise instruction of this treatise is this. Among these, for the time being, further explanation will be given on not abandoning the mind of enlightenment. What is the so-called mind of enlightenment like? Love and compassion, Adorned with great wisdom, The seed of Buddhahood is the mind of enlightenment, Therefore, the wise should not abandon it. The so-called great love is to have the four types of intention: to liberate all sentient beings, to free them, to cause them to realize enlightenment, and to lead them to complete nirvana. The so-called great compassion is to have the four types of intention: to accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings, to completely protect them from the lower realms, to uplift them from the inferior vehicle, and to place them on the correct path. The so-called great wisdom is of two types: the wisdom of means and the wisdom of knowledge. Among these, the wisdom of means is to generate all roots of virtue that possess the purity of the three spheres, to share them with all sentient beings, to dedicate them to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, to confess sins, to rejoice in merit, and so forth, and to perfect the three accumulations. The wisdom of knowledge is to generate the wisdom of the nature of individual discernment, which is in union with a single moment, because all phenomena are without object, without characteristics, without fabrication, without birth, without entity, and without establishment. The seed of Buddhahood adorned with these is the mind of enlightenment, and enlightenment is the complete knowledge of all phenomena in all ways. The mind of enlightenment is the intention for enlightenment. Because it is the seed of Buddhahood, therefore
